PvP - Will I care?

One of the things DAoC did right was divide up the Open PvP into three distinct areas - each one BELONGING to one of the factions/realms. This was something Warhammer did wrong. It had open PvP, but the areas were not assigned to anyone. They were just world-wide opened. Thus I did not care if a keep was attacked. Was not in MY LANDS. Did not belong to me. The Keep might have been conquered by my side, but I felt no ownership of it. It belonged to anyone at any time. In DAoC, BENO BELONGED TO ALBION. It was on Albion land. When it was attacked, it was personal and I felt a sense of realm pride to rush out and defend her.
For me, PvP in DAoC is more than just killing other players. Even with I ran in an 8-man, I had that realm pride and felt tied to the land. I was INVADING the mids and their lands. I was taking THEIR keep and putting my mark on their soil.
Will I care in Prime? Will I care to rush out and PvP because I will feel a NEED to defend, protect and kill for something? Or will it just be another place to run around and kill people? For me, I need and want more. Probably why I am STILL playing DAoC. I try ALL the others, but not the same.
As I understand it, in Prime there will be another world where Open PvP will take place. Can it be divided into areas designated for each faction.... their part of the pie??? Waiting, wondering and hoping.

to advance your race you need to fight for prime dom. is the main source thats where allt he base taking is and stuff. if im guessign right evryone willl have a base of command on that planet but we just dont know yet
Sooooooooooooo, if they divided the PvP area into bases, bases that BELONG to your side, encampments that are yours on your land that you conquered and hold, then.. should it be attacked by the enemy I would rush out and defend it. If the bases are just places to port into where you go into an area and then fight other people... not sure.
Of course, I will try it. Whether I stay or not depends on how much I care.
think planet side for bases but you need to take them to get prime to advance your race
Never did PlanetSIde. To be honest, never heard of Planetside. I most likely WOULD want my race to advance, but advance toward what??? Again, I usually only go out and PvP when MY lands need defending. Unless someone is messing on my grass, I stay inside and craft... unless the Guild wants to run a group and PvP.
think advancmeant and stuff prime goes hand in hand with crafting i believe
