This video demonstrates the possibilities of climbing buildings and city walls, jumping down from them, along with a nice sunset view of the garangdol plains in the end. We hope that you like it!
I also disagree with that one poster that it was "boringly innapropriate".
Hopefully they will eventually add fall damage
Yeah, I was surprised by the lack of fall damage in this video because in other videos from CBT3, I saw a character jump from a mountain cliff, the same distance as the video above, and that character died. Maybe it was a developer video and they turned off character damage for the vid.
I was pretty disappointed by it really. I've seen some beautiful stuff form this game, especially some of the landscapes and characters...but the city itself?
Weak in my opinion.
I love the grandness as far as scale and I love that you can climb around on rooftops and stuff, but the buildings themselves were not impressive at all. Pretty bland design.
I can't wait for the game but am I the only one not impressed? I hope to god this game is as good as everyone seems to think it will be. The armor, animations, and characters models are starting to turn me off abit. Its still in beta though

I was also not impressed. I was expecting something... different... when I clicked the link. What I found was lackluster tbh.

The music is from the Conan the Barbarian Soundtrack
Movie or does the game have a soundtrack that is available?
well, I suppose in that case it was innapropriate. But I didn't find it boring ; )
I think both Hyborian and Rise of the Godslayer have soundtracks available
Thanks!
Getting back to the comment about the buildings, my thought is that the buildings are sort of "realistic" fantasy.
Many fantasy games have highly detailed, completely over the top buildings. These buildings felt to me to be more appropriate for a limited technology society. Perhaps more low fantasy over the high fantasy buildings like one one might find in DDO.

The music is from the Conan the Barbarian movie. The one with Arnold. Although, the Age of Conan soundtracks are available but nothing like this, different style.

If you don't mind me asking, what are your system specs Romtim?
People will laugh, but I was a pretty unhappy camper when Blizzard removed wall-walking. Having free movement is a pretty big plus to me. Invisible walls and mechanics that arbitrarily prevent you from doing so are kind of annoying. Granted, the kind of slope you could walk on in WoW was pretty crazy...
I am actually very impressed with the castle itself. It really looks like a castle, not only with looks but also with its size. I really like to see a siege to that castle. If that is also this good, game is sold. I wish this game isn't so far away from release in west

I didn't want that vid to stop. I don't think it is, but, I have to ask. Is that music from the game?
I liked the music.

Fun watch. And to answer, I "think" the music is from Age of Conan, could be wrong but sure sounds like a track from it.

"I play Tera for the gameplay"
No, it is from? a very good film - Conan the Barbarian.
It is written by Basil Poledouris - Theology.
By the way, the video is filmed by me, not by devs. The last few days of the CBT lacked fall damage (turned off intentionally).

It looks nice visually though.
I find your first sentence to be very confused.

I could see the beta'ness clearly.
Fun vid nonetheless. Hope they will add falling damage.
