Controls were suboptimal for me in beta:

    1. Keyboard - can't really aim precisely

    2. Mouse - a little better, but I didn't like that you were turning when you moved the mouse and left it in place

    3. Xbox 360 controller - probably the best of all, but I still felt like this game needed a joystick.

If they added more controle settings, perhaps it would be much more enjoyable. Weapon grouping could have been improved, but wasn't. Weapon balance was kind of weird, and it was difficult to find anything usable at greater distance. Loot wasn't rewarding enough. I didn't feel like any of the player reports about it (including mine) reached the developers.

unfortunately unless your north american or european you can forget about playing this game, all other ip's are ban and there is no word of any other servers coming, sadly the ppl who run it aren't very honest with ppl about who can play it and who can't, took them ages just to release a list of the ppl who can play on the european server, still havn't done it for the US server, and they led ppl to believe that the US server would allow alot of other countries on other then north america telling us all to wait for it to come out, now that it is up however we know thats a load no1 other then northamerica an play on it. I will say this much though, apparently the lag is quite bad on  the game, so from what i understand any other country that got on the server apart from the country its hosted on, would lag so badly that it would barely be playable, whether thats bad programming or simply cheap ass hosting, who knows, but i don't know if we will ever see a global server, or any other server for that matter, its fairly sad for any1 else who wanted to play      PS: some ppl have managed to trick the server and get in regardless of location, however if you get caught it results in instant ban

I too tried this in beta, and hated the ship controls. The game itself appears to be well done, maybe I'm just too old to get my fingers to control the ship properly. I'm not a fan of the dog fighting view trying to keep a cross-hair on a target type fighting though, and again maybe it's my age coming out. I prefer the space combat to be more like eve, where you don't' have the cross-hair chasing a target issue.

    What's the catch?
Yet another under-funded indie effort that needs revenue to survive? Or is there a full MMORPG there to play?

I am going to wait until you get it and give us a big thumbs up bofore I consider it.

Graphics are good, Ship controls - no problem game system takes some getting used to but the killer right now is the UNBEARABLE LAG! Which apparently got worse after eh final patch before release.

Hoping they fix this sooner rather than later - fora  F2P space MMO - it's worth checking out.

We're afraid you can not play this game in your location. Sorry.

    Sorry my english.

They're not racist, and allowing people to connect to NA servers from Brazil just causes those servers to grind to a halt. If there is enough of a market in South America to put out South American servers, they will. Until then, there are thousands of other games to choose from.

It was the depth of the game that turned me off.  Granted I did not get extremely far in the game, but in the time I spent in closed and open beta, there just didn't seem to be a whole lot to the game.  Just some missions, choose a faction, do some meaningless pvp, etc.  I KNOW there is more, but just what I saw did not entice me to look for more.

I'll give it a go again someday.  However due to Steam's recent summer sale, that may be a while!

Actually you pretty much covered what game has to offer. It has some lengthy tutorial I didn't even last through that and then the game is just extreme grind with no sense at all. Germans developed the game, ran out of money to create anything better than grind fest in space, then looked for publisher hoping to get some funding to continue developing the game and eventually sold the game much cheaper than it was developed for to Gamigo - Asian F2P game developer company. You can pretty much not worry about even trying the game... Unless you want to bore yourself to death. Better save some money and get Collectors Edition Star Wars The Old Republic when its out in a few months.

Those in Australia save yourself the 6gig download, you cannot play it from Aus.

Very disappointing, what's with this region locking, particularly for a free to play mmo.

    Cheers,
