I was just about to download rift

It was just yesterday that the download was $24.99 but i was too busy to deal with it . So having some time today i thought i'd buy it when i noticed they went back up to $40. forget it, especially after they sent me an offer for $4.99 a couple weeks ago which again i was to busy to deal with. It seems that their pricing is all over the place and i don't like that at all....totally turned off now.  I was ready to pay $24.99 but not $40 for a medicore game at best.

    Well thats just teh nature of the beast...having lots of different promotions to get pople in.  I'm sure they having another super low one come fall or close to the end of summer.

    Also read the offers very carefully because some of them do not include any game time.

    They are really using some underhanded marketing ploys.

    think RIFT have been the game with most promotions/month Ive ever seen, or maybe just been more visual in their advertising for them?   but for sure if I thought of buying this title Id wait for a promotion, especially at this point where you already are afew months after launch.

     So now companies have to state what every deal does NOT include? That's.... weird.

    Yes do please read carefully whenever you buy anything online. Failing to do so and not getting what you wanted is most likely your own fault. Not stating what a deal does not include, is not underhanded marketing imo but apparently opinions differ.

    Edit: just wait a couple weeks, I'm sure there will be new drives to get ppl in as soon as they are done with the batch trying the game out now.

    Do some research, there are a lot of places to pick the game up for 20 dollar ish.
