Interesting. Still having a hard time wrapping my head around how exactly combat is going to work. We have a taget lock, we have some LOS, theres abilities, theres weapons. I'm excited to give it a try.
theres a tad bit of combat in the interview ^.^
Even though it actually is too early to say anything since we haven't seen any videos (which is weird since they claim the game has been in development for years), I still think that that combat FAQ is nothing out of the ordinary. I hope there will be more things other than Sci-Fi and three factions that makes this game different from WoW.

He is proud about different colours on the jet-pack burn for 3 races? Seriously?

The harvesting system looks interesting
no dont think that was the case. hes proud of the way when you target someone your character follow it to make the combat look way better. the reason he mentioned it was because someone asked about the ui color thats all.
you got to remember this was all done live so nothing was edited out or corrected
also the pda from what i understand not 100% sure i think we can be offline to excess it too but im not sure on that yet
He never emphasized the jet pack colours, he actualy centered more in the combat and mining features...anyways the game looks promissing, i'll be folowing this one
I am definetly looking for a shooting MMO (but nothing like Global Agenda..), open world (not Earthrise either).
Maybe I will find something good when Defiance and/or PlanetSide 2 will come out. One thing I really want is twitch shooting in an open MMO setting. But hey, that's just me
