Is it me or does it seem like alot of mmo games have extremely bad public relation skills. do not get me wrong there are mmos out there that have excellent public relations and customer support, but for the most part the majority of the mmos have bad public relations and not so good customer support
My questions is from what mmo games have you recieved your best and your worst Public relations and customer support services?
for me I would say that Perfect World Entertainment has wonderful customer service and public realtions from my expierence.
The worst public relations i have experienced would have to be from DC universe online when it was in beta.
the worst customer service i have had to deal with would have to be aeria games now do not get me wrong they have some ok games but the gms have me wondering how currupt some of them are. you know what i am talking about if you have a high lvl character in last chaos or a couple of there other games. they come off as nice but. you just know there is something going on.

My only interaction with PW was a bad one, where they proved themselves completely inept in every possible way. I will give however, that this was back when Perfect World was a new game and all they had under their belt. They may very well have improved since then.
Without a doubt however, I'd say Nexon is the worst with customer support and public relations, the latter mostly because there isn't really any to begin with. Not just those departments either; they can't seem to keep their games up without having to take them down for emergency maintenances several times a week. They do absolutely nothing about hackers even when given screenshots and movies as evidence. They're just a terrible, terrible company. That they keep acquiring the license to so many good games saddens me, and all because people jumped on the Maple Story wagon (god knows way) and filled Nexon's pockets with the money to do so. Every single one of their games would be better in someone else's hands.

Lol I can agree with you on nexon. they have so many really good games but i did notices there customer support was lacking,
PWE I do not play perfect world I play jade dynasty but that is besides the point. If they were bad they are not now. I actually found a number for customer support and had them handle and account issue i was having. and it was dealt with easily and with kindness.

I still wonder what the heck went on within the company when Darkfall was being released. Why did noone bother going onto their official website and remove all the advertised features that were never going to make it into the game? Weeks after release the website still had feature promises on it that were canceled a year before.
They didn't have any programmers capable of updating a website?
