From my home City and a cracking real ale.

Most Irish Stouts but only on draught though, makes me want to walk down my local.

My favorite kind of beer is the one YOU are paying for.

Or as we used to always say, the best beer is free beer.

Real dark irish Guiness.  It has such a disctinct taste and is so fuckin expensive in germany so I have to confine myself to drinking german Pils (Becks, Radeberger, Warsteiner etc.) which is also delicious but more like a lemonade compared to a heavy guiness.

I live in Belgium and we have some of the best beers in the world but I'm still going to go with the danish beer Carlsberg.

    Oh, Beer! MMmmm...

One of my favorites are actually my own homebrew. :)

To mention a few of my all-time favorites:

My god that's an amazing beer, I want right now!

Innis & Gunn Rum Cask. Even better than the "original" Innis & Gunn..

Also, honorary mentions: Brewdog Punk IPA, Wells Banana bread beer, Samuel Adams Honey Porter.

As a Czech I have a hard time picking my favourite;)

But I'd probably pick that Pilsner over any other if I'd have to choose

    Lame but true :D

I think I actually spent way more time reading and theorycrafting about MMOs than playing them

Its a toss up between IPA's and Hefeweizen

If I plan on a night out drinking, Im going to usually stick to Hefeweizens because of their low alcohol content and drinkability.  My favorite Hefeweizen is Franziskaner Dunkel

When Im at home or if I just plan on drinking a few beers and if its available, I go for Dogfish Head 90minute IPA.  If I can find it, I get the 120 minute IPA.  I've tried other IPA's and nothing really compares to those.

On the subject of IPA's and hops, has anyone ever had a drink from one of these?

Its called a Hop Randall.  I recently had one of Dogfish Heads beers called "Midas Touch" through one of these at a local bar when the dogfish head vendors were there.  Absolutely delicious.  Doesnt turn the beer into an IPA, just gives it a refreshing touch of the freshest hops you could imagine.

i undertstand you very well. for a Chzech every beer aside from some german beers are a harsh downgrade. when in US i prefer Millers regular, if i have to drink bottled beer. i also found some micro-breweries in Michigan. that beer came close to what i call a beer.

My go-to beer would be New Belgium Brewing's 1554, or Tripple.

Finding good beer is difficult where I live. However, there's a nearby pub which carries an incredible selection of micro brews, and imports. I'm partial to the Belgian ales, which I am currently working my way through. Finally got to try a barleywine brew there as well. I forget the name, but it was pretty good.

Hmm... I dunno if I have a favorite... can I just go with the one I drink most often?

Lets see... what the hell did I dirink today..  oh yeah, every time I go to a pub I drink different kinds of beers in one sitting.  Today I had a bunch of Rolling Rock, something called Warthog Ale, and finished off with a Carlsberg.

A few days ago I did a Bud Light Lime (don't hit me I bruise easily!), followed by a wheat beer called Shock Top, and then finished with a Harp.

A few months ago I would drink nothing but what my pub calls a Black and Tan.  It's a mix of Guiness and Smithwick Ale.  My other friends swear by Black Velvets which are a mix of Guiness and Strongbow Cider.

I think if anything I'd just boil it down to a pint of Carlsberg.  I always find it sits well and goes down relatively easy, especially when I'm out on the patio and it's humid as hell and the beer is colder than your ex girlfriend.

No required quests! And if I decide I want to be an assassin-cartographer-dancer-pastry chef who lives only to stalk and kill interior decorators, then that's who I want to be, even if it takes me four years to max all the skills and everyone else thinks I'm freaking nuts. -Madimorga-

Man that thing is HUGE and looks AWESOME! Sad we don't have that in quebec... yet we do have a few brewers here but eh not comparable to germany!

Well when I visited Germany I realised how awesome beer can be, but back at home I guess I gotta say Corona's and Toohey's E.D.

So a good beer is one you have to put extra stuff in, in order to make it drinkable and pay more for the beer and the add-ons while doing so.

^ Hey you. Leave that guy and his lime juiced beer alone. If he likes it like that then he likes it like that.  Sure. I'd take a modelo over a corona most days. But some people are light and fluffy.

Well, if we're talking mexican beer then toss me a Tres Equis. ** Looks around for the wall with the floor drain in front of it.**
