I found a great free game for the android, Inotia 3

I was browsing through the games on the android market a few days ago and i came across an Rpg that cought my eye. now there are quite a few decent rpgs in the android and Iphone market if you have the money for them. there are even a few decent free ones.  Everyone likes a great deal and free is even better. Well as i said i came across an rpg in the android market. Now i try anything on my phone if it looks to be interesting to me and its free. so i downloaded it and gave it a try.

I was decently suprised I got to choose my class and i choose mage cause that is my style of play there are 6 classes each very unique and have skills that are fun and original. the game also has a party system. this is not and mmorpg so the party members are npcs. There AI is decent they fight along side your character and use there skills that you asign for them. the party consist of your character and 2 other npcs. if you play the story line you will gain allies and loose allies. it has the usual lvl up system where when you or your party members lvl up you can eventually get new skills or level up the ones you have to make them more powerful.

the story is not boring or tediously long like alot of JRPGs. its immersive and fun for a phone game. what i really love about this game is that you can play it for ten minutes and make progress or your can play it for hours and make good progress. its not overly difficult while it still presents a challenge its not impossible. it autosaves really well but i recommend saving before any boss fight or any difficult map your on.

there is a bug but its not bad. the ui may become invisable. the game auto saves alot so this did not present a big problem for me and all you have to do is kill the application and restart the game that will fix the problem. that is the only bug i really ran into.

my mage is lvl 29 and I am having a blast with this phone rpg. whats cool about this game is there are a ton of side quest and repeatable quest that can be completed for money and experience.

some bosses or maps may be a bit challenging so doing side quest and grinding a little may really help you out in gaining the lvl or 2 you need to kill the boss or get through a map you need to to get to the next stage in your quest line. if your party dies you might be pleasently surprized by the autosave feature. there has been times i died and i was like crap I am gonna have to redo all of that. and i load my file and i only have to redo the last part of that quest

I do not know if this game is availible for the Iphone but if your looking for a game to play while you at work on break or some fun and new because your bored i recomend giving this little rpg a try. Its not a large download only about 16-32 mb. if you like rpgs then you will probably like this game.

some interesting facts:

this game has over  130+ maps

has a decent story to follow

not tedious or boring

play smoothly on my lg optimus v

bring back nastalgia on old classics while still feeling fresh and fun

gba style graphics so there not the worst.

the touch screen control are fun easy and not annoying or cluttered. I have big fingers so ya

Games I will be playing are: TES V, SWTOR, ME 3, TSW

I have been playing a sandbox single shard MMO on the iPhone for a couple of years, Outer Empires, think 2D Eve. The ability to just pop in to check on things in your virtual unverse where ever you are is not to be underestimated.

I really like the idea of Outer Empires. I tried it and the concept is excellent.

However I found the gameplay and the actual game-representation-of-actions to be too picture based and not graphical feed-back satisfying enough for me personally.

Eg marry something like the graphics of Warpgate or GOF2 to the Outer Empires concept and that would be a killer app game.

I know what you mean, but the opportunity to have a sandbox MMO  with a player run economy and  PVP and the associated territorial politics, in my pocket, overcomes it for me.

Apparently they released free versions of all the inotia games or something except with ads o.O how fail.  I even bought inotia 2 for like...5$ a couple of months back x.x

Apparently the only difference between the paid one and free one is that the free one has ads o.O

Good thing I didnt buy inotia 3 when it first came out o.o

Any chance on how many people have downloaded the game? Number wise?
