never tried that nintendo 3ds stuff so not entirely sure how well the technology works. especially considering they are scaling to monitor sized displays

Well, it is kinda hard since they havn't started selling it yet, but it do look solid enough and LG makes good stuff (not as good as Samsung but still good).
I am looking forward to test one of those myself, I hate 3D glasses, this is what is needed to actually make 3D viable for gamers.
My wifes sister has the nintendo 3ds and it's interesting. YOu have to be perfectly lined up with the screen or it just blurs out. It's not leap of the screen 3d, but it definately has depth to it.

This particular TV can only be viewed by one person at a time, making it a rather useless purchase considering how much it probably costs.
That said, I think the whole technology is a waste of time anyways. As I understand it, this is basically just the same 3D technology used by everything else, only the "glasses" part is integrated into a layer in the screen. It still likely has the drawbacks this technology always has, from serious eye strain to a loss of definition in images.
