Question for the fun of it.
If someone is on EQ2 and ignore all adventure packs.
Then, after a few months, they switch to Station Pass for 1 month and resume EQ2 access after that, did they get the expension pack free?
I remember someone could go to the Legends server and move to any other server the next month instead of paying $50 to lose all gear. Of course they nerf that travelling way to original server only.

Good question and honestly I don't know. I don't even know if thats been stated clearly by Sony yet.

Yes, it was weird that a juggernaut like MS did not market and promote AC1. Hopefully with the expansion pack and Sony helping it will get some pub now.
Only problem is there is so much competition now, it will be a lot harder.

Sorry but it will not work that way.(well actually 2 months of station pass would ) I got this right off their news page-
"We also will be giving Station Access members these Adventure Packs as part of their Station Access subscription, provided they have been members for at least 2 months (more specifics about this will be out shortly)."

I'm failing to see any effect of SOE's "marketing." AC2 and AC1 are scheduled for release in April, a little over month from now! I've seen very little previews, videos, screenshots, or anything. The stuff there is, has been very slow in coming.
I've been following Auto Assault and THERE is a good example of marketing. AA is isn't scheduled to come out until August and several times a week there is some kind of coverage on varying sites. I was skeptical of whether NCsoft could keep the pace up, but they have for the past two months.

You mean like the full page adds for each in popular gaming magazines they have been running?

Sorry, I don't subscribe to any magazines. Everything I need is out here or should be if Turbine was playing it right, which in my opinion they still are not. I see little online coverage of the upcoming AC1 and AC2 expansions. Maybe I'm just looking in the wrong places?
Me neither, I got a few for free recently for some reason and I saw the adds. They were full page color, they didn't spare any expense on them, so something is atleast being done, not sure how much or how much it will help at this point though.
One had a big blue dude on the front, for AC 1.

They could always use some more coverage, advertising their game has never been a stong point for them. Better late than never though.
