ZzadZzad Member UncommonPosts: 1,401

Hello all....

I´m thinking of giving a try to Final Fantasy XIV Online the problem is i don´t find a way to buy the digital download for Europe....nor i can find a trial to try the game....

Is there anyway i can try it for 10 days like many other games do? Can i buy & download the game digitally or i need to buy the box in a shop?

Any link to actually buy/test the game from Europe would be much appreciated^^

Thnx for your help in advance ;)

    +1 for accuracy and utility

really, since the game bombed at the gate its pricing scheme has dropped dramatically. you might even find a collector's edition out there for pretty cheap.

and since the game is currently free for anyone who purchased a copy you can feel free to peruse, and even check in once in a while to see what improvements have been made.

i am told, also, that there is a 1.8 patch coming out sometime next week. so by ordering the hardcopy you are also setting yourself up for what is supposed to be a major overhaul of  all the things that sent even FF lovers out the door.

good luck, one warning though, the process of signing up your copy and creating an account are overly complex. you can do it, just be patient.

an infinite game for the purpose of continuing play."

There is no digital download currently.  One is planned, but likely won't be released until PS3 version.  There is also currently no trial, but as mentioend you can find it for cheap (boxed version) and once you buy it there is no subscription fee currently (until revisions are done).

Oh I forgot to add you can also get a buddy key, which is like buying an actual copy of the game not just a trial.  You can't have mine, but you might be able to get one in the FFXIV forums here.
