It is an interesting thread started in the official forums.  I am pretty sure they started it because none of the Devs have really been talking since the Shitstorm I mean Dawn came out.  The link is here.

What would be your questions for them?

 

My favorite ones are pretty much handled in this posters.

 

Since sometimes the intention of the writer cannot be perceived through a written text i need to say that this is my list of questions without any intention to sound in any way aggressive, sarcastic or disapproving for the effort done until now.





1) When should we expect to have smooth nodeline transitions w/o the characters stooping their movement for a few seconds?



2) Is the player or horse movement prediction going to have a need for readjustment with almost every big patch introduced into the game?



3) When should we expect the invisible player/pet problem to be solved?



4) Can we expect for the future development to not reintroduce the same problems again?



5) Do you consider that all the combat aspects (mounted melee/archery, two weapon fighting, heavy/light weapon fighting, Block w/o pre-charge even with a shield, unable to cancel the swing to block, Archers animations not visible from distance) are currently working as intended?



6) Are you satisfied with the current horse behavior/handling while riding



7) Considering that the community seems to ask for various features to be implemented (PVE, GUI, AI, Magic, Guild/Territory control Features, Economy and Social tools), what are your planned upcoming features in the development list, what is the order, when should we expect them and what can we expect in general terms for each system?



8) Even though the game world is seamless there are still small loading times and many pauses during the game for the engine to load the various objects.

Can we achieve a more seamless transition with the current build of the engine?



9) At the moment some people might (from times to times) find it hard to buy or sell stuff. The economy seems to lack variety and be affected by the difference in timezones and the "not too high" population.

There are numerous polls and conversations made in the forums proposing many different solutions and features.



- What is your general opinion about the matter and do you acknowledge those problems?

- Do you consider offline trading as a solution and are any of the following propositions considered as future features that will solve the problem? (Auction House, Broker House, Better GUI and Higher Capacity for Player Vendors, Player Benches, Posting Boards, mailing system, Ordering system, Task System)

- When should we expect to see the features/solution considering that the improvement of "Trading and Commerce" was admitted to be "Top Priority" by Henrik back in November 2010.



10) What are your general thoughts about a possible fully player driven economy in the future of MO?
