So I'm lookin for a third person MMORPG with some sort of resource managment. where I can manage a town ,city, country or whatever. similar to assassin's creed, fable 3 or even dragon age origins (forgot expansion name). any feedback is appreciated.

someone mentioned in another thread a game called Wakfu having a great battle system, but they didnt like the ecosystem management they had to do.
sounds like something you might look into.

Do you want RTS resource management or non-RTS resource management?
age of empire online is coming out soon. i believe stronghold kingdoms is out there somewhere to. it's a growing industry, i cant wait till mmorpgs and mmorts games merge, as in offer both tiers of play. i would gladly play a character in a world governed by player "gods", especially if their greater territorial wars created the backdrop for my playtime. i tend to detest premade static lore.
Have you looked into something like Xsyon?

Thanks for the replies so far. I should of been more specific im not looking for an RTS ive played lord of ultima and its not for me. I,m looking for a thrid person or even first person game with resource managment.
look into shadowbane..just search it. id say more but my comments will get deleted....in that game, your guild built a walled city with economic buildings run by the inner council, and you war with all the other guilds on the server... its defunct now, but something we cant talk about on this site has been happening...just search it and see what you find...
when i first heard that someone was making a Warcraft mmo, i thought it would have you create a 'hero' character and allow you to either earn, buy, or attain various battle units and that you could then lead them into battle in either pve or pvp in a seamless world
for a while early on in SWG you could have a creature pet, a robot pet, and a faction pet out at the same time. you could set up ambushes and everything with them. it was fantastic. oh well.

thats essentially what I was looking for if only they made a starcraft MMO like that.
Also I looked up shadowbane, it looked really good and would be great if it was still around.

Xsyon or Wurm maybe. EVE but in spaceships.

ya i would really love an honest to gahd 3D, 3rd person game which had henchmen like in GW1, resource collection and crafting like SWG (the skill based system would be nice as well, but id go with anything if i could get these others fulfilled), a flagging for pvp system like SWG had at first, and the ability to build ingame housing and structures (again with the *option* to flag them for pvp or not), and a seamless world with no instances.
also, you might look a little bit deeper into the Shadowbane question.
