Missing Shadowbane

I want the group aspect, quick leveling and massive pvp that Shadowbane offered. I know of the recent attempts to restart it, but I don't believe any are going.

I've tried the new "hardcore" pvp server on AoC and to be honest it doesn't compare. It's a good game, but it's not going it for me.

 

Any suggestions? Free to pay is fine, I would prefer new over old graphics.

    We won't ever have another game like shadowbane again, we are the select few that like that kind of game. Its hard to deal with but thats the turth and it sucks.

    darkfall is suppose to be simular but without the building of a town around a tree lol.

    I did play SB, and what I am referring to is the being out in the open and just be under attack at any moment. That is the simularity I am referring to. However, I havnt played DF so that is just what I heard of.

    Ya I get nothing will be the same, but some large scale organized pvp would be GREAT. Leadership meant something in that game. DF isn't really for me.

    I miss it too.

    Rubber bands, lag deaths, wall bugs, crappy graphics, crappy sound effects, duping, city buildings disappearing, and everything else that was broken.

     

    Still the deepest most engaging community interaction, group chemistry, and endgame, out of any game I've played over the past 18 years. One of the greatest games ever.

     

    If I had a billion dollars, we'd be sitting pretty.

    its one of only 2 games i wish i had had the chance to play back in its heyday.

    Still the best mmo I've ever played. And I miss it like no other. No other mmo has come close to the fun SB was. Banes that lasted hours upon hours, random ganks in the middle of no where, mass mine taking, hell just goofing off swimming back to newbie island trying not to drown was fun.

    My hopes for it is weak.. don't think it will be successful or populated
