One of the Mods at gamergod.com (they also had a contest for the DnL beta for the same day) said this earlier today:
"I've been told by the PR guy for NPCube that he expects to have the beta keys tomorrow morning. If that happens, he will send them out to you all then. " (was here)
So maybe if they get them tomorrow MMORPG.com might get there set too. So hopefully tomorrow.

Has anyone heard anythign about the contest at mmhell? There hasnt been any word on whats up with their contest. The yhavent released any names, it would just be nice to know if they did select winners and they just arent publicly announcing them.

I'm not sure if I like the trend of giving away beta slots as "prizes". "Back in my day..." commencing now.
Used to be you were selected based on your system specs and experience. I can't get into any major beta tests now since my luck stinks. I know what you all are saying. You want me to stop crying. I'm not crying, I just miss beta testing, that's all. Congrats to those of you who won. Let us know how the game is once the no talking rule is lifted.

well i think that the interview dnl did here on moorpg.com said they had 2000 testers.. i dont think 20 beta accounts out of 2000 really implies that dnl are choosing their testers on anything other than expereince and specs.
1% of testers in a random prize draw sounds more like a profile raising gimmick as apposed to a serious tester selection.
This isn't the only site to give away accounts. Websites everywhere gave 20 accounts away. It is a good way to get people alking about your game. I'm really not mad about it. People are getting chances to be involved in beta testing. I had a blast doing it. I guess I had my time so I'm bitter. You gotta' do what you gotta' do to get you game going. I mean there is a million MMORPG's out there now so competition is immense.

Its really free advertising. They are getting more time on front pages/tops of forums at gaming sites. And in return they just throw out a couple more beta accounts. I mean they will have to pay bandwith, but I doubt going from 2000-2200 will mean upgrading to larger line.
Id like to hear Any updates. Talk on D&L website say that one of the other contest sites had thier tickets same day.
So yes, any info from a admin would be very welcome. Especially with the weekend here.

geez dude, come on. I won also, but I'm not bellyaching about it. I've never won a contest before, so maybe thats why. remember, patience is a virtue...
