Hey i was wondering what is the best free MMO upcoming mmo or already relesed MMO. And im not talking about those half assed ones that you can download, I'm talking about those ones in the stores like EB. I know guild wars is coming out and when I beta played it I absolutly loved it! It was the best gaem I had ever played, but reading more about it and the stuff their going to add to it I relize that I dont think this game will be that hot. Its going to get lame as hell in a day because you can create your own custom level 20 char with the click of a button. Not to mention level 20 is the max level and you can get to lvl 20 in 2 days. So is there any?

AO has a few years on it's back and might have "outdated" gfx by todays standards. Still, it's a very good and complex mmo with a dedicated community.

The points you mentioned about Guild Wars it seems you may have just grabbed from seeing the Beta Test. The create a level 20 option was there just for the events after they wiped previous characters so those who wanted to just PvP still could. As for level 20 being the cap.... I believe that was just levels they have been testing, but I could be wrong as I haven't seen it go any higher since the first E3 demo they released.

There is nothing for you but Guild Wars. Sorry, but your criteria is simply far too restrictive to offer any other options.
You won't find any games like you mention there. My feeling is if im having fun with the game the money is all worth it, $13.00 , $15.00 a month is NOT that much money, two - three hours at some low end job!
its not interest... when will kiddies ever learn
MMORPG = Servers are ran by the company, which takes money to maintain, such as power new server parts(as the game grows) and a crew to maintain them. Then you got programmers, moderators, marketing, designers, and the head haunchos. All of them are constantly working on the game and require a steady flow of cash.
Not only do they have to make enough money to pay off their staff, and etcs. They also have to be gaining a profit.
Games that are single player or multi(with player run servers). dont cost monthly.. why? Because after the crew makes it they release it and boom cash flow in, now they either work on a expansion or a NEW game. Maybe a few patches to fix bugs but you wont see much new content. Then they release their new product and BAM more money.
But with a mmorpg you have to constantly have a team working on it, and thats the main reason why its p2p.

11-15 isnt that bad but
1st off I have no job so there goes that plan.
2nd - I have a life and I spend to much money on goingto the movies and shit so I always have like no money haha
3rd. Im canadaian eh!!! SO you looking at more like 18-25 a month. That is outrageous. HOw much will DnL Cost, that sounds like an awesome game.
Also if you gunna have to pay monthy why should you have to pay the initial 60 just to buy it in the ffirst place lol. I think one of them is fine but both is a bit much.

I would suggest getting a job, get "cash flow" and than decide.
Also, you say you always have no money because of the movies and snacks after school(didnt say school but...i do that, so ^_^) movies are like...8 bucks, plus treats, so you dont go to 2 movies a month and your set for your monthly cost ^_^
also i have noticed the parents and grandparents are a good sorce of income.

If you find a good MMOG, you won't want to go to crappy movies and hang out with friends and whatnot... So you actually save money
Seriously. Get a job. 4 hours a month working would cover your entire cost for any MMOG. Anyone can manage to work for 4 hours a month.

Jeeze, you're getting ripped off something fierce. I could go see 3 movies at the local theater for $20.
Anyways, just find a part time deal. Like 4 hours, 3 days a week. That will give you enough for all the MMO's you want plus extra for whatever the hell else you want. I also assume that you don't have to pay rent, so that's all just spending money... That's almost $400 a month... It's not hard for a young guy to find a part time job either... All stores can use more minimum wage grunts...

Wow...mister literal!
Stop whining and get a job. The more you moan about this the more you sound like a pathetic child clinging to mommy for allowance.
Harsh words? Yes. It's a harsh world out there...the sooner you unerstand that the better off you will be.

Best free MMORPG? Anarchy Online
Best free upcoming MMORPG? Guild Wars
I think I can safely say that these two games don't compete with eachother (different player base) So
Roma Victor (check it out, really. State of the game just came out so no more digging through the forums for info) Poor beloved WWIIOL may finally loose some of that famously devoted subscriber base.
Guild Wars Sounds like an outstanding game as far as its genre (fantasy) is concerned.

Well i've been playing Anarchy Online for free for the last 2-3 weeks, and i'm hooked. I've generally considerd myself more pro-fantasy, sci-fi mmorpgs didn't quite fit into the picture. So all i can say, don't underestimate the theme of an mmorpg. I've actually found sci-fi is alot more 'free' in terms of what you can have in the game [items, areas, clothing etc ]. For example it's certainly not strange wandering into a little town with horses, smoking chimneys and farms in a sci-fi mmorpg, but don't expect towering skyscrapers, hover-bikes and computer terminals in a fantasy mmorpg.
I see people say AO's graphics are a bit out of date, maybe , but it's the only MMORPG i could found other than maybe WoW that runs amazing on my system. [Nothing like being able to run a MMORPG in a window at work without it killing your system]. (btw i consider myself a casual gamer, so i don't play for 5-10 hour stretches, more like an hour over lunch and maybe an hour after work, that's about it...which is why subscription MMORPGs generally are a big money waster to for me , even if i can afford it).
As for other free mmorpgs. Planeshift seems to have pretty decent graphics although it's still in alpha-beta, i'd check into it again in a few months. Rubies of Eventide still going, graphics not as great, and control system sucks imho , i'd still go for AO over RoE [unless you absolutely can not handle sci-fi].
Haven't tried Guild Wars, will look into it eventually , but if you're going to wait for Guildwars then you might
as well play AO until then :P
