Chris writes "FileFront has broke the news from Blizzard that they are no longer placing their highly popular MMORPG on store shelves, due to the recent server problems reported by Slashdot on Tuesday. Denying rumors that they had asked several stores to pull the game from shelves, Blizzard rep Gil Shrif is quoted as saying: 'Were just being careful not to release additional copies to be sold until we feel the game servers can support additional players.' The online store on Blizzard's website shows the game to be out of stock. No word on whether or not this will affect the Korean release."
is this true?

Bad move.
Very bad move.
I understand their servers are packed, and I know they have que's to log onto the game.
But can you imagine how many sales they are now going to lose? Add a few servers, but do not confirm the loss of millions of dollars!

Yes. I knew it would happen, even throguh beta when it was laggy and the servers were always down, people kept saying how it would be such a great launch... ya right.
That's true, I've been to a Futureshop today, no sign from WoW exept for the timecards. Looks like they don't have choice; when there's a waiting line to enter a MMORPG server, it's never good.
Actually...My server is very stable, and usually lag free. No queue's either.
Oh...And i'm not saying what server it is...I don't want it ruined.
Death is not to fear; for it is not the end, but rather the beginning on the road to eternity.
"Fear not death; for the sooner we die, the longer shall we be immortal."
The only existing server problem at the moment is with High population servers. I play on a medium population server and it is never down (nor are low population servers).
The big fuss is all coming from people on high population servers.
