    I have helpfully color coded these messages for everybody!  Isn't that useful?

    This is the color of dirty, dirty lies.  This person is just lying.  And trolling.

    This is the color of somebody severely misinformed and/or trolling.  The statements made here are untrue, but not neccessarily a lie.

    This is the color of somebody who either has bad taste, or is misinformed, or maybe, just maybe, somebody who has a legitimate different opinion.  None of them are stated very well or eloquently, so the first two are far more likely.  People who disagree on legitimate grounds tend to be able to express themselves a little better.

    These people need some sort of medication and should calm down. :(

     

    Hey now.  I'm pretty sure one of those pink quotes is me and I AM on medication......

    There is nothing illogical about that opinion. Especially if you're going to call finding fault in funny "so LAST YEAR". I didn't know you were nominated to decide what was "LAST YEAR" and what wasn't. It's just your opinion as far as I can see, and there are other opinions out there. You might want to show a bit more respect for those.

      I'll bite.  I would imagine, in a literal sense, anyone how was both alive this, and last, year could probably draw some conclusions about what last year was.  Also, I see no reason to hold respect for opinions which, in design, are meant to be disrespectful anyway.  Its the difference in saying, "I hate Final Fantasy 11 because I'm not enjoying the menu based combat and find the largely asian playerbase a tad alien to me" and saying "Final Fantasy 11 is such a steaming pile of crap.  It looks like crap and there's nothing to do.". 

     

    Both of those are opinions.  One, however, is logical and the other is nearly pure vitriol and ignorance.  The first one is actually how i feel about that game (or did rather).  The second is the kind of garbage I hear around here.  A price you pay when you can't screen members as deeply as I'd like.

    You mean like, "I only gave it a 1 because -10 isn't possible" is somehow *not* unfounded and baseless?  Even if you don't like the game, this kind of sentiment is pure trollishness.  Not even FFXIV deserved a one.
