What happens when someone's jedi or sith gets killed by a non force user?

Was Grievous actually a sith? He whacked a lot of jedi.

And yeah, there are plenty of 'jedi hunters' who weren't jedi/sith.

What will force based class users say when they lose to say a smuggler or a imperial agent?  What if it's a fairly regular event?  Will many star wars fans abandon ship?

Might seem impossible that players would act that way... but in many games I see players who justify a class being OP as it's "supposed to be OP"  SWTOR would be more vulnerable to this than other games I would imagine.   I realize many star wars fans love the idea of being a non force user also... but there are a lot (equal to or more I'd think) that are absolutely in love with being a jedi or sith.

How many of them will handle their jedi or sith losing and not assume "well this game must be crap"?

I don't see that the Jedi or Sith were really that powerful... Last I recall, they were down to less then a handfull by the time Return of the Jedi hit. There were way more bounty hunters and smugglers around at that point...lol

    Explanation that came from BioWare:

The non-force user classes are the elite of their time whilst the Jedi and Sith classes are your average force user.

to those claiming wow was balanced,  stop smoking the crack.

wow pvp was never even remotely balanced, its constantly swinging around to a select few builds being the only way to play, and resilience has made things even worse.

wow balance has sucked severly since burning crusade went live.

An interesting post that I found useful on this forum was the poll in this thread:  http://www.mmorpg.com/discussion2.cfm/thread/322042/SWTOR-Which-class-you-gonna-roll-with-first.html

It actually seems like there's an even amount of people who want to be Force users and blaster wielders; save for the 7% more of those who just want to blast lightening at everyone lol.

So we'll see more Sith Inquisitors for the first couple months, then someone will make some videos and a website called "Sith Inquisitors take no skill" (kudos if you get the WoW reference), and all of the classes will level out.

The devs seem very intent on making all of the classes balanced in PvP, but there will always be the OP class of the month until a patch comes out and nerfs them (or marginalizes them and everyone will cry nerf), and then another class will seem OP and the cycle continues.  The same thing happened in WoW, and that's all just part of the game.  In the beginning, I rolled rogue and pwned everyone in pvp, then we were nerfed and warlocks became unstoppable, then huntards, then mages, then pallies, and since I haven't played in a year, I'm sure there's some unstoppable OP class running around as I type this that needs to be nerfed.

Bottomline, just enjoy your class, and when it's OP, live in the battlegrounds, and when it's not, go raid.  Or you can PvP and QQ and rage at the rest of your team and type in all caps during the battles, because everyone listens to people in their chat that ARE TYPING LIKE THIS ZOMG !@#$%$#

Bump.  But to be fair, it was unbalanced before.  See "Rogues take zero skill" @ World of Roguecraft.com

Pre-BC WoW rogue could destroy in PvP with starting gear (i.e. no stats).  It was a fun time lol.
