did this game ever get some decent pve so I am not wandering aimlessly?
Im worried about the answers I may recieve

There are mobs to kill in the game, but the AI is still pretty rudimentary.
Beyond that, there is not a large number of "major" mobs, like the Risar Chieftain, Spider Queen, or Greater Kimuru, that present a greater challenge, though in my opinion, even they are not on the order of the elaborate scripting found in other games.
AI is probably at the very top of the priority list right now as the next thing that is improved in the game. No doubt, the PvE has been lackluster so far. There isn't a timeline I'm aware of for when new AI will be implemented, I just know that it's high priority right now.
There's a free trial, so you can always check it out for yourself at no cost.

thanks. Ive played it. Its been like a year or two, in fact I have an empty cd case lol.
Id be willing to try it if they let me get some free time though. Fk it, why not, everything else sux, how much more could it?

The AI is horrible and there is little pve you can go a long way without seeing mobs. I would suggest doing the free trial before you waste money. Yes AI is high on the list to fix but it has been that way since beta 14 months ago. So I would advise not to hold your breath.
Also if you are into loot from pve be prepaierd. You get a carcas which you need to take to a butcher to turn into materials that can be used for food, armor and weapon materials. Or you can be a butcher yourself. Think big game hunter.
Youtube the greater kimuru if you wans to have a good laugh at rudimentary pve. It is the biggest mob in the game and it moves in a 15ft circle very slowly. You can stay out of range of its attacks and kill it over time.
If your main interest is PvE, there is little challenge to be found in this game.
