Help some war vets.

Hey there, fellow gamers. I am selling a pencil on eBay. Why, you ask. To help out war vets who are in trouble. VA centers are backed up all over the country and vets are in desperate need of help. Please take a look at the item here:

    Sooo,

    They buy the pencil and you get the money and the tax deduction. No thanks.

    They buy the pencil and I use the money to start a non-profit organization. I then gather items and money for needy vets. Donations to that are tax write offs. Not for me, for the donators. Good try to be cynical, but you should try helping out your fellow human beings for once. It feels a lot better than hating all the time.

    No need to come down so heavily on him... No offense but it could be a scam or something...
    I do feel sorry for the war vets, and I will be one of the first to admit that this country takes horrible care of the soldiers they "use up."
    He wasn't "hating" anyone.
    That is just my opinion though...::::01::

    Same here, we don't know anything so why should we buy something if we don't see where our money is going. There are a lot of poor people too so I will help those that I can first, before buying for veterans without knowing if it is true or not.

    Don't be mad at us I think it is kind of logical, if someone posted that he wants to help then animals/people and asks to buy something would you do it?

    Already have. I have the cheesy button to prove it. Anyway, I am just trying to do something good. If the winning bidder would like documentation on what I am doing, it can be arranged. I assure you it is on the up and up. Anything I can do to prove this I will. If you are uncomfortable with the pencil idea and want to still help call your local VA center and ask what you can do. I just want vets to have another place to go when everything else is out of their reach.

    Or you can go here and choose from many official ways to support the troops without fear of being scammed.

    I believe that our allies also have ways to assist their troops and a quick search with google will find them also.

    I don't care if it is a scam or not. My point was not to get mad at an inocent coment. THat was all I was saying.
