General: New Images from Unnamed MMO Released

Carbine Studios has released a pair new images from its as-yet unnamed MMO. The first is called the "Welcome Wagon" and features a ton of creepy crawlie bots looking rather...hungry. The second is a great look at outer space. The images were taken from a trailer that will be revealed at this year's Gamescom.

    personally, I would like a decent space sci-fi where you could visit planets, explore a universe. (even if the planet in question is only so big that it basically ranges from a small city to a small village. I had my fill of fantasy (wow/warhammer, I loved you both, but it was time to call it a day). Im still liking my sci-fi space ships (yes it is eve) im looking forward to my alternative reality (secret world) not on the SWTOR hype train, would like something different.

    God I hated the replicators.  They were everywhere.  

     

    Speaking of which, I need to go back and watch all the Stargate episodes, SG-1 to Universe.  Whats that like 25 seasons?

    Saw this at a Carbine Fansite Forums post.

     

    Defiently an intresting space-ship design, almost looks more aquatic than anything. Im defiently very intrested in this game at the moment.

    Static screens, could as well be the "cover art" need to see some gameplay video, sorry but the cynic in me says these look way too good to be gameplay screens.

    Although these screenshots do look quite impressive I'll reserve my judgement until I see some actual in game footage. All we know is these are stills from a trailer. This could be a CGI trailer and we are looking at artwork and not the actual game. I will be watching this one for sure.

    If this is a good original IP sci-fi avatar-based MMO sandbox I will be pleased... We need more of those.

    Will we get mortars and machine gun nest for use in these mass 'bot invasions? Or will it be a pistol and sword?

    You just know all thise little bugs in the OP screenshot are going to open their maws in the next screenshot and show a mass of shiney white teeth:)

    game looks interesting, graphics dont look out of this world, so no reason to doubt them.  Now if thousands of worlds and open spaceflight was on offer then this would be a potential must watcher for sure.
