i agree with all who are saying that they probably wont raise the level cap in future expansions, I think we are all starting to realize theres alot more that can be done to character progression then just increasing a level cap.
It's hard to speculate on what they might do when there are so many options available for them at this point. That said, I know what I want, and that's for Cantha and Elona to be opened up. I want to experience those places again, check out their armour and weapon skins and explor over a thousand new DEs. What I don't particularly care for are level increases and additional classes. The former is pointless and the latter would shatter the balance of the game. I'd prefer to see new weapons as that'd add a new way to play certain classes and keep them fresh. They'd be easier to tweak in balancing too.

I’m more and more thinking of the next races to be introduced in future expansion packs and that’s what I’m all excited about. But I’m not revealing any secrets yet!

Neither is true. Anet has never confirmed nor denied that there would be more professions in expansions and Daniel's quote could easily be about minor races. Of course I don't doubt the introduction of more playable races but still, it's no proof.

he was asked SPECIFICALLY about player races
Tap: Did you have any input into the visual design of Guild Wars 2′s races (or the redesign, specifically the sylvari?) and what is your favourite Race/Class in GW2?
why bother replying hes excited about new nonplayer races
when someone is asking him what is your favorite player race?
GW1 never raised the level cap so we really have no precedent for when or even if they'll decide to do that.
I hope they do eventually, I'd hate being level 80 forever lol!
What's the point? The leveling curve is already almost flat. So if they raise the level cap for let's say 5 levels, you're going to hit 85 in 2 days and then what? I think Anet has much more creative plans than increasing some pointless numbers to keep people playing.
it would be more zones with different difficulties, and releasing quite a few elite dungeons or dynamic events or one massive one which has to be repeatable so many times jus to get round it all
Raising the lvl cap would probably go agaisnt their business model as to buy a game and play forever, expansion with more lvls would force players to buy it, which they dont want to do
I'm hoping that they don't take anything off the table, who knows what great ideas they might have in the future.
I'm also hoping that they figure out how to split stuff up so we can get more frequent updates. My biggest worry is that they run into the tech limit and decide they need to redo from the ground up creating GW3. Hopefully the backend is robust enough that they can update it instead of replace it.

I thought ANET said there will be new professions but I found nothing to verify that
ANET did say there will be new races in expansions

I would like to see new weapons for classes like:
For Thief
-Naginata
-Sai
-Kama
-Shurikens/throwing Knives
-Sickle & Chain
-Crossbow
For Warrior
-2h Axe
-Polearm
-Crossbow
and many many others
