The R&P forums died months ago, they finally got around to burying it. It was sad to see 10 people on alt accounts trolling each other in extremely offensive ways.
Good riddance R&P!
Now, we can all disperse to our chosen game forum where people on alt accounts are trolling each other in slightly less offensive ways.
Congratulations MMORPG.com, you just shut down one of very few places a person can freely express one's opinion. Sure we had some trolling problems, but nothing a mature individual should be unable to shrug off.
In any event, this is likely my last post for a while. Few conversations outside of R+P are interesting enough.

I guess I will have to go back to post about how awesome Asherons Call was and how WOW ,regardless of how many players it has, ruined the old style sand box MMOs,lol.
R.I.P. Religion & Politics Forum.
Does anyone know of any websites with political, philosophical, and religious discussion forums? I'll always come here for information and discussions on MMORPGs, but I need some good recommendations for other stuff.
I've heard of the escapist, but I've stayed away from it because the conservatives here told me it was not fair. If I was going to discuss Religion and Politics on game forums, then MMORPGs unmoderated forum was the best choice.
I found this http://forums.philosophyforums.com/ in the External Links section of the "Philosophy" article on Wikipedia, but I've barely skimmed through the site. There are several subforums, such as the "Philosophy of Politics and Law" and "The Philosophy of Religion."
Any other recommendations?

I know of no others that are unmoderated where you can speak freely,sadly.Escapists ban Inconsistantly ,sometimes they let some people say crazy stuff yet ban people on very silly not even R & P things.Depends on the Mod and if he/she had a bad day...If you are right of center not even extreme mind you, you will have a rough life over there...Of course I have just lurked on the site I never wanted to join due to I feel like can't really learn anything from an 18 year old that still lives with mommy and daddy and no life experience.There are some on here that are members of escapists and could explain it better than I could though

I don't think any forum is going ot let you freely use the N word, unless it's some white supremecist website or something.
It's just going to make the owners of the forum look like racists if they allow it, and no one really wants that.
So if you don't moderate it, how do you know people aren't constantly saying the N word, or worse? Then if you start deleting and banning those posts, well, now it's moderated.
So you either moderate the forums, or you look like you condone racism once people start trashing the place using the N word, or other racial slurs.

The first link seems to be purely american so that leaves me out and the second too serious. I loved the "casual" and "free" aspect of the R&P section. Ah well. Things come and go i guess.

That poster "ktchnflrrpst" (spell?) was the one posting all the Racist and American Hate crap ,He may even be the one straw that broke the camels back with the Mods.Oh I agree you shouldn't be able to say stuff like that,I think I even replied to his hate filled rant.Oh well though I guess it will probably tone down the mood on this forum ,maybe it will be for the better in the long run.We will see I guess
4chan does have a politics section under filters select show text boards and there it is..good luck lol

Thanks Ihmotepp and xpowderx, I saved all three links to my bookmarks. I might make an account and post, but I mainly observe. I even lurked around here for 2-3 years before I started posting.

If you forgot about it it mean it's been a long time since your last visit. Here is how it went: Digg did a massive sell out to corporations, offering prime time front page cover for those who were paying most. They were on top of the web portals world and lost more than half their population in 2 weeks or so.
Then Reddit had an overhaule prior to this and received most of Diggs refugees. Making it the most active web portal of our current net. I love that site.

The Escapist is fun and moderated. That is another place to visit.

I dont resub EVE til the beginning of next month. But you can look up Ede-Ebu, or Maidden(TR). Also have a character in the Praxis Initiative. That one I wont give out due to the political nature. But I play Maidden alot.
Also use TS, Vent and Mumble depending on the game ;-D
I've got all those comms as well... wonder why people can't settle to one.
Not such a fan of mumble though, still didn't find out how to disable those silly warnings about "x changed channel". Always annoys me when we are hunting frogs.
