Want to return, but was unable to play last time...

Hey folks,

     Just wondering. I'm interested in returning to the game, and intend to use my free 14 day reactivation trial. However, last time I activated my account, took forever and a day to DL the full client, and then the game wouldnt work. From what I recall, it was because my new computer has DX11? So my primary question is this: Is there some way to run the game even with my comp?

Secondly, is there a place online to download the most current patch so that I can download first and then activate later?

Your DX version wouldn't effect the game not running unless it was older than required.  And as far as a manual patch, I've been unable to locate a website that hosts them.  For an MMO on life support, it makes sense.   You'll ahve to use their patcher.

I have essentially the same computer, just a 955 instead and 8g of ram.  HD 5850 GPU.  I can assure the game runs on my computer, well in fact.  I believe I had most settings from medium to max, game run fine.  As far as the patcher, I have not experienced slow downloads really ever with the game, although it's been a bit since I played last..  Make sure you have the correct ports open on your router as that is usually the cause for slow download speeds.  Not sure which ports WAR uses, just google it.

This game is the smootest best equped best looking(once set by player)i have ever met.yes all game should have their gama checker tool.thi being said pace is horrible you fall asleep before you get interested they handhold us too long and too much.
