I get the feeling these people so fixated on 'open world pvp' are the very people who enjoy hitting max level then going back to starter zones and ganking lvl 1s. There is no open world pvp in the active PvE part of the game because of how DE's work. Everyone is working together as a community. the second you run up to people in an event that event scales to include you. Open world makes 0 sense, and it would not work.

Now, I'm sure your brains are registering the WvWvW element as an AV type instance. However, you're wrong. Av is a tiny little map, WvWvW is played out in Zones. Zones which are much larger than the segmented variety seen in your favourtie mmo Wow. Imagine half of a continent in size. Split into 3. I imagine it will be slightly larger than that in reality, but it's a concept I'm sure you're able to digest.

NO OPEN WORLD PVP (Which usually doesn't affect the game world)

Who cares about W v W v W (Which affects the world in which it takes place), it's still just instanced PvP(Not instanced, please define instanced). I want it in the open game world, where, you know... things can affect the world(Such as in which MMORPG?).

I think what he means is it's zoned, but then again so was the frontier in DAOC, it was nothing more than a large zone. No loading screens but still a zone, no worries inside your realm of open PVP except on FFA servers of course.

To SB fans, please stop making our demographic look bad.Stop invading threads that have nothing to do with sandboxes.
