I will never understand how people can say that this game looks like other quest HUB MMOs! There is not even one quest hub in the game, and yes I know the events play like quests. But still there is a design difference here, one you go to a place pick up quest from NPCs that have long written boring dialog and in the other you just wonder around and do events that interest you. Without ever going to a HUB or even talking to a NPC, plus the events you can actually watch happening unlike 99% of the quests in quest HUB MMOs.

In a standard them park you get a quest to kill 10 bandits that are planning to attack the settlement, so you go out and find the bandits in a field doing absolutely nothing besides standing there. In GW2 you get an event to kill bandits that are attacking a settlement and what do you know the bandits actually attack the settlement. How anyone can view these two scenarios as exactly the same is beyond me!

But whatever to each their own! If you want to view designs that way go for it!

Yeah, if you saw the video where he played the Char he chosed which part of the DE he wanted to make, so in your example you could help extinguish the houses the bandits put on fire, rez downed players or kill the bandits, whatever you prefer.

Regular quests are a step thing where you must do all steps or it wont work.

It is interesting to see the comments of someone who had did not know much about the game beforehand.

I am glad to see such a positive response as a first impression. I love hearing the sound and in HD too. Not too much of that from cons.

    WTF? No subscription fee?
