Alright I think I might start this mmorpg because it looks friendly to the casual player.

First off I have a few questions.

#1) Is there any pvp in right now? even just duels or is it all being planned for CoV?

#2) When is CoV planned or estimated release if there has been any about it yet?

#3) If / or PvP does not exist what do you do once you level out your hero to max? Most games have little PvE content for high levels that is actually fun, but maybe this game is different

#4) Is PvE actually fun in this game? Like do monsters react with real AI not just /stick /attack to you like most mmorpgs?

I can speak to everything except the lvl 50 content, not having reached it yet.

The AI of the MOBs is second to none! It is most certainly one of this games best features. Different gangs have different attack styles, and everytime you engage a group is different depending on what is in the enemy group as well as whats in the superhero group.

There is no form of PvP at this time, although I do not know if they plan on implementing any before CoV, which I am not sure when they will release.

Currently there is no PvP in CoH but Issue 3 added construction sites around the city where arenas are being built. These will be PvP arenas to be introduced in Issue 4. So it will be here very soon.

Well with my level 50 (empath/elec defender) I am currently helping out SG members, giving away influence, doing a couple task forces in Firebase Zulu and fighting arch villains. It is lacking a little at 50 IMHO but we're currently gearing up and planning for a Hamidon raid.

Yes, it's what I think has kept me around Issue 3 seemed to add more AI to the game but it could be just me. There are in mission ambushes, boses run to next groups of enemies seemingly to bring in reinforcements.

 1) How is the exp is it bad good or hard to get ?

2) What can you do more ingame can you enter buildings if it aint mission ?

3 ) Is there money in game or items ?

 4)  And how fun is it

1- After like 20 the grind increase significantly.  The amount of hours needed to reach 50 is like 600 hours, so it is an average of 12 hours per level, consider the time you take to reach 20 and figure for yourself.  (powerleveling and boring most effificient hunting excluded, I dont consider either above normal level hunting which was not present in my mish back then)

2- The ingame buildings(beside mish) you can enter are: - Shops, city halls or Dancing bars(connecting zones).

3- Influence replace money and served to buy enhancements.  Enhancements is like a ''skill'' system made simple, and althought you need influence for it, this is the only place to spent influence for now(they will add vehicules and bases soon).

4- The game is very fun IMO, but someone saying very boring can have a point.  If you want to be good in battles and fights, all you need to do is to do battles and fights all the time, no need to feed a hamster, to fetch milk or whatever the devs think is cool(you do need to click a trainer however hehe).  The story is good, like a single player RPG storyline.

Thank you for the help, but i got one more question i forgot to ask.

Is the game solo based that you can do most things alone or is it group based that you can't do much alone ? Or is it a mix between both ?

It is mostly optional to solo or group.  However consider those 3 points:

 

- They try to enforce grouping however and it is a mistake.  Some missions will require you to have folks to click something simulteneously.  The fact you dont need to complete those missions dont matter, they stumble on you and you may very well have been soloing up to that point.

- In the 45+, you need a group to kill AVs who give that extra 5% hps and mana you need.

- You level much faster in bigger groups, althought the game system lack IMO for groups of more then 4, it lack a big time since the mobs are coordinated and the players to be coordinated need to work rather then play.

- Instead of reading ''defenders'', we should be able to read something more accurate about the player ability, and so on with any AT.  Call it a detail, to me to be able to make the difference in my group members when they are strangers is not a detail, and the actual tools dont allow it(you can check for toggle and auto power and see what they cast, but that is taking time and energy rather then just knowing with a quickie glance).

Ok thanks now i got one last question. Does City of heroes Europe work un american servers ?

If you know what i mean i buy COH Eu instead of just Coh will it work on american servers?
