What's up everyone?!

 

I've come here to tell you about yet another video I put together. I didn't want to make a big one right before Pax, so this is just a simple video about the Appearance Customization! I hope you enjoy it!

What are your thoughts about the Appearance Customization? Is it just like you thought it would be? Or would you change something about it?

Customization looks quite nice, Arenanet has done it again. Everything shown so far has been amazingly well rendered.

Dumb question i'm sure, but there isn't a female Charr?

 i think the point is that there was a showing of how the customisation is done, not to tell you through it, its pritty easy to see to be honest

And about the promoting.. I'm not earning any money with these videos, I'm not a YouTube partner and I don't monetize any videos. I'm just putting them out there for you guys to see. If someone posted a video with 2 hours of gameplay and made a thread about it to let people know. Would you be saying he's promoting his channel as well?

The video is about showing you more of the Appearance Customization, I don't think there is much explaining to do. By actually seeing it, you should get a pretty good idea how it works.

I think what Sharpeh does is done very well, he spends time sifting through the videos out there and edits them together to give a very clear, concise video presentation of a GW2 feature, it's a much better way of getting visual info than trudging through twenty different videos to find that one bit of info. Keep em coming mate

As for their relevance here - it's a GW2 forum and he's providing a quick easy way to get at info, I'm sure I'm not the only forum poster here who appreciates that. He always asks questions and tries to get us involved in discussion around the videos he posts, he always attempts to make a contribution to this community.

As for the character customisation - I'm really happy with it and extremely pleased they've given us a lot of options and limited those options so that characters will always fit within their racial norm, it's a wise move, you can have a unique charr but you can't deform it so much that it is no longer recognisable as a charr, or have proportions that simply aren't possible for that racial biology, ten foot heads on three foot bodies is not something that sits well with my desire for immersion.
