That's hilarious! I haven't quite gone that far. I usually dig through the game list and look for a game which meets my specifications and try one or two. Not all of the games at once though!

Most of the time I end up removing the F2P games after a few days. The only MMOs that stay on my computer for long periods of time are EVE, EQ, EQ2, Vanguard, and that's about it.

Time for you to get an extra HDD!

<shudder> that poor hard drive and the sheer amount of pooey games that were forced upon it =P

  • eyceleycel Member Posts: 1,334

that just makes me think hmmm...

444 games, 80% of 444 is 355 so 355 games, hmm... thats not right in any way imaginable. I call shinanigans.  It would take to many terabytes to do that in first place, what do you got a 50 terabyte server rack.

Im j/k more that i think about it most of the mmos here prob only take less then a gigabyte.

Are you trying to give your computer a stroke?

Seriously, that's a pretty dumb thing to do.

If I'm trying out MMOs, I will uninstall one before moving on to the next. Cant stand all that clutter heh.

  • aliceinaholealiceinahole Member Posts: 6

Wow, that's a lot! Any good games you got? I'm thinking of trying out some. I'm just a noob you see. :D

  • DaftDaft Member UncommonPosts: 172

to be honest  all the games really suck. I just play FFXi or everquest.  I just downloded them for no real reason. I guess it was like beating a game or something but really boring and pointless.

  • DaftDaft Member UncommonPosts: 172

and then there is the whole patch process and im not going through all that!

  • DaftDaft Member UncommonPosts: 172

And BTW my name is Daft so by that you can see why i do what i do haha!

  • stamps79stamps79 Member Posts: 233

If it was paid to do so maybe, if they provided me there internet connection and HDD, probably yes....I would still have to be paid to do so.

When I think of all the F2P games you downloaded, I feel like you just spammed the hell our of your HDD, and now your contagious.

Now I feel like I need to defrag myself.

    Wildstar (2013) & Elder Scroll Online (2013)

    Playing: Diablo 3, WOW, Far Cry 3 & X-Com.

Enjoyed: WOW 5 1/2 yrs, LOTRO 3yrs, GW 1/2yr, DFO 1yr, EVE Online 3yrs, and Huxley (Beta).

Failed to impress: GW2 3months, Tera Online 6 months (best combat system in any MMO I've played) STO 1/4yr, Aion 1/2yr, AoC 1yr, CO, Fallen Earth, DDO, EQ2 1/2yr, WAR 1/2yr, Lineage 2 and FF XI 1/2yr, FF XIV.

Haha I felt so bad when I had some 25 games on my hard drive at a time, most f2p games ready to be checked out. But yeh, I don't think I ever have more than 5 games on my computer at once now.

You have to the delete them! Fast! That hard drive can collapse into a gravitonic poop singularity any moment and destroy the universe!

Same here. I regularly cycle through the MMOs for both work and personal gaming. Sometimes I let the smaller ones or ones I want to get back to linger around, but usually after I'm done with one I delete it to make room for the next.

I have some times come onto this site and just randomly made up stuff to draw out a response. You sir did the same.

Bravo at your ability to make people call your actions stupid, dumb, etc. Did ya get what you were after? /facepalm

I have around 30 or so games, (about 20ish mmo's) but when I'm not playing them I just rip them onto an external drive leaving only the links. At most I'll only have 2 games on at once.

That's not a bad idea. I think I'm going to start doing that.
