Yup, I agree to this. But then and there need to have each of this portable console but which one?

I prefer style but not so fancy. I think I'll go for PSP Vita, looks cool and nice.

I guess it would mostly come down to what games you prefer to play and which system fits those preferences.

I haven't messed with theVita yet, but i have used the 3DS... the 3DS felt more gimmicky than anything.

    Vita vs 3DS

    Vita -

It will have a solid launch library

    Dual Analog controls

Developers are making a lot of upcoming games playable on both the Vita and PS3, Similar to Windows Phone 7 and Xbox360/ Windows Market Place - but more developers are behind Sony on this then MS and they are not limited to only touch based controls.  I'm very excited to see developers interested in doing this.

I wish it had 4 triggers and not 2, but compared to the PSP lol it has Dual Analog controls.

I like that i can use the touch screen on the back of the unit, instead of the front for touch screen functioning games

$250.00 for a Wi-Fi version, this sold me, I was shocked to see how awesome the spec's were on this machine and then Sony gives it this price. Awesome!

Battery life to be around 5 to 6 hours, not sure if this is tested with online features turn off or on, I'm sure they were tested with it off.  Sony has mentioned that the battery to have around the PSP battery life would be.  I was almost expecting it to be lower, so this is pretty great news.

    3DS -

Poor launch library and of course there are some great titles coming out, but seriously I don't buy a system just for the system...I need games I want to play

3D effect, I'm in the small percentage of people that get sick, have headaches and all other crappy things from 3D screens.  While sitting still and not moving, it's actually not bad, but if I were to move just a bit and play, lets just say, it took me forever to clean the vomit off my cat.

Price ? $250.00, seriously that's the same price of the Wii when it launched Nov 06.  I know the Price has dropped down $80.00, but really Ninentdo was way too greedy with that price  What happen with Sony when they launched the PS3 at $600.00, they were not selling systems.

Graphical quality in my opinon is lower then graphcial power of the PS1, ....basically it's fugly.

No Dual Analog?  One of the biggest companints developers and consumers had with PSP was 1 analog function.

Battery life up to 5 hours. From my experience,  I did also notice if I turned off the 3D effect, I would get the best battery life out of the system, probably around 4 1/2 hours...I also did have my brightness around 2 as well.  If I turned it back on and still kept the brightness low, I would get around 3 to just barely 4hours.

3DS to me is what Virtual Boy was ( the idea of the system was better, then my actual experience ),  both systems failed for me in the first week of playing with either machine.  The PS Vita has the games at launch that i'm excited about and of course the games that are to come later on, it also has the specs that just make it a portable gaming dream.

    My choice Vita

....even if 3DS lite or 3DS2 has dual analog function and better battery life, I have a feeling I still won't be sold on it. I love Nintendo, but for me there games back in the 80's and 90's are what I loved, recycling over and over the same games, just doesn't do it for me anymore...maybe cause I'm not a kid anymore...who knows, I just know I want something new from them and I know they can create new IP's....they just need to make a change.

Always psp most ds games are aimed at families or children sadly (Had a dsi sold it still have psp phat)

And the ability to play psx games is miles better than being able to play gba games if the 3ds is able to which was removed in the dsi which sucked ass.

Also while some people might not do it because they might be scared or what on the older psp you could get a custom firmware version that had managed to emulate other games and become playable on the psp unlike the ds.

So in other words psp yes 3ds no.
