Mortal Online is beloved by it's playerbase. However it's not for everyone and some of the people seemed to have been chewed up and spit out by this game and express there outrage over and over again on these forums.
It's not for everyone. It's a hardcore, fullloot, open pvp, sandbox, and like all sandboxes on the market now it still has some bugs. It's just not something themepark gamers are used to.
I wasn't chewed up one bit, I was dissapointed in the companie's lack of respect for their own game. The parts I did love about it were the ffa pvp, full loot, sandbox part of it. I played wow for over a year and was bored to tears, but I was with a close RL friend guild. I can't get him to even try eve, so I know MO is out of the question.
I think the Atlantic Ocean & water vs Mortal & bugs comparison is very unjust.
There's much more water in the Pacific Ocean, just as there are more bugs in Mortal then there's water in the Atlantic. One could go as far to say that MO is one big bug.

It is a new species of bug.
