Is there a f2p mmorpg with no leveling pitfalls?

There has been a lot of decent mmorpgs in the last couple years ( Gameplay wise ) and some have surprised me quite a bit in depth of features and content ( like Eden Eternal ) but every single of them suffers from the same malady  that soon drives me away:

"The pitfall"

Starting a determinate level (Usually it´s around 30 / 40 )  the game suddenly changes and you pass from leveling twice per decent gaming session, to gaining 10%  of the exp needed  for a level per day.  Not only that, but if you happen to die even once, you lose  a couple day´s worth of experience.

Furthermore, the game that until then, had offered you  a variery of quests and some even cared to throw in a plotline you may want to follow, suddenly are cut short, and you are left with like 2 quests per area and a list of repeteables that take you 30 minutes to complete and give you less exp than what you could earn by grinding out the time you spend to deliver it.

Supporting the game via cash shop does not help you either, because earning 25% or 50% extra exp per kill does not change the fact you still end up having to face a brutal grind to level even just once.

And finally, this usually happens a few levels away from switching to the class you wanted to be from the very start, which makes it all the more frustrating.

So, is there a f2p mmo extempt from the evil pitfall of doom?

Do not suggest lotro, i tried it and did not like it,  it reminds me too much of WoW,  which i still play.

GW2 Get a ticket and wait in line for next year.  Otherwise you are looking for a game that is free completely and low time grind, we live in a world where life costs money including gaming and things take time unless you land on GO and collect 200.

EQ2 Extended would be one recommendation, you can play for free (with some limitations of course) almost to the very top and you won't run into the grind you speak of. (EQ2 is dirty with quests just like WOW, so perhaps it might be too much like it for you?)

Guild Wars definitely, since you reach max level in like a week. But unlike most other MMOs, being max level does not equal lack of content. It's buy to play, but it has no subscription cost.

Mabinogi has a unique leveling system. It's skill based and you get AP to spend on skills from leveling. The twist is that every 3 weeks you can rebirth for free which resets your level but lets you keep your skill progression. It does get grindy if you try to get to an insanely high level, like 100, but it's easy to get to like level 50 every 3 weeks. There is no max level.

I feel like DDO isn't really that way, it does naturally get harder to level at higher levels but it's not a huge spike and you don't lose a day's worth of exp from dying.

*None of these are like WoW at all.
