Guild Wars 2 devs and Arena.Net have teamed up with Penny Arcade to bring fans of the game the adorable plush Charr. The Charr plushie is on sale ONLY at Penny Arcade for $34.95 and only a limited number are available.

They are cute and big and I know plushies are expensive in general but... It's just a bit too much for me.
I wanted one until I saw the price. Just a bit too much. Plushes are something that people have been asking about for some time. I think it would have been wiser to sell a larger number of small cheaper plushes.
I'd totally buy one if we had that store in my country :X

Waiting for Guild Wars 2, and maybe SWTOR until that time...
What do they mean by a limited number? Like they aren't going to make more? or limited number for right now? I want one but for a Christmas gift since that's the only reason I could justify the price. I just want to know if they are going to have them by then. Is there anywhere i can find information about this? I really want one. The limited number worries me though.

I think I actually spent way more time reading and theorycrafting about MMOs than playing them
I'll save my cash for the overpriced Collectors Edition so long as they dont cross the $80-$90 threshold.

Yeah. No more of this $150/£120 Collector's Edition bullsh*t I've been seeing lately. All I really want is the soundtrack, artbook, some in-game cosmetic and maybe a lil something extra but I don't want anything (like this plushie) pushing the price of my CE to ridiculous levels.
GW2 blog says its also available in NCSoft Merchandise Store in Europe. Whatever that is. But maybe someone might finds this usefull to know.

meh..I ordered it anyway since it's probably going to be limited edition and all. Totally worth it. And if somehow they add this to a CE (which some people seem to think they will) then I'll be well on my way to forming my own warband.

That said, nice money grab. I'll consider purchasing something like this when it's $19.95 like any other "great" American deal.
Supplies are limited so don't go hoping the price will drop.
Game merchandise
A very good source of income.... They can make as much money with stuff like this then they can with ingame items, which of both do you prefer?
