That's the next anime i'm going to be seeing. I'm planning on seeing Studio Ghibli's: Princess Monoke, Kiki's Delivery Service, The Cat Returns, Porco Rosso, My Neighbour Toroto, Castle in the Sky, and Grave of Fireflies probably all finished by the end of May or so.

Or if I have enough money saved up buy something like

    this

I also like ghost in the shell and akira (the more I watch, the more I like).
As far as series are concerned, I have to give it to the only one which I really liked. This one is cowboy bebop, enough coolness and hardcoreness without getting out of hand queer like trigun did.

Grave of the Fireflies is my favorite Ghibli movie, it's a damn good one. I didn't bawl, but a few tears did come to my eye. The thing that's horrible is, is that's commonplace in war, it's nothing but a statistic in the end. I believe Stalin said "The death of one is a tragedy, the death of a million is a statistic", or something along those lines. This is what I got out of the movie anyway, in the view point of the war as a whole, that story is very insignificant, unless media shows it to us.

I got that same relationship with GitS, I get more out of it everytime I watch it. I'm not going to watch GitS2 again until someone comes out with a sensible DVD with some readable subtitles. I've onle seen Akira once.

Cowboy Bebop rules! Favorite series and movie.

Right now i'm watching the Witch Hunter Robin series and the Full Metal Alchemist series.

So far Full Metal alchemist is nothing brilliant, but the storyline makes you want to keep seeing more episodes and it is really entertaining.

I love the concept for Witch Hunter Robin but the few episodes I have seen have been kind of slow.

Has anyone seen either of these shows?

Thats what I thought. The atomosphere really makes you want to watch more episodes.
