LF 2 different kind of games..

First, out of pure curiousity are there any type of Final Fantasy or Dragon Warrior/Quest type MMO's? Something that is more 2d.. Along the lines of FF4/5/6 or DQ 2-7? Just wondering.. I remember years ago there were a few that were being independetly developed.. think it was around the late 90's.

 

Now for my second..

I just paid.. or should I say wasted 20 bucks on FFXI again.. I've bought this game on release, then three times again over the years hoping it had become more of a fun game than a 'job/chore' game. It's great, don't get me wrong, but as an adult I have limited time to play. To accomplish anything you need hours. Also I play a game to have fun, and when a game seems to become more of a job or a chore than having fun, its time for me to put it away. That's my opinion. So now.. I'm looking for something fun.

Something where I can level quickly/easily, perhaps play with the wife. She isn't the greatest and figuring out games so the simpler the better. Something where you, with a little to moderate amount of work feel like a power house.

I've played just about every single p2p MMO. As I'm still in search of my new Ultima Online, which the closest I've found is Darkfall. I'd prefer something that is free to play as money is limited at this time.

Free to play games I've already played.. Dragon Nest, Eden Eternal, DDO (before and after f2p), EQ2 (before and after f2p), Champions Online (before and after f2p), and a few others.

Currently downloading Forsaken World as the wife seems interested in it. Give me a suggestion please!

Mostly interested in my first question though. Seems like it could be a lot of fun. Even an FF/DQ game where you or your party is entirely controlled by you and you can just chat/trade with people would be great! Thanks in advance!
