I read in a dev post on the main forums about the development time line and it mentioned that they were working towards version 2.0.
I could not find any info about version 2.0, anyone know what the development plan is?
I do hope that the game gets some serious love in the art department and more fluff is added to what is shaping up to be an excellent space MMO with REAL COMBAT !!!

All we have to go on is rumor at this point, however this thread includes links to some interesting posts by the lead dev Incarnate giving clues as to where the game is headed. A few hilights include more lucrative trade routes between guarded and dangerous areas of the galaxy, additional Greyspace systems, fogged asteroid "reefs", a military rank structure system, a pirate station that moves locations randomly... who knows, sometimes it seems the only constant in Vendetta Online is change.
I am also working on a large project within the PCC, one that will take well into the next year to complete if not longer. I am trying to maintain a steady rhythm as far as writing missions, while keeping balanced school work, paid work, and sleep. It's not an easy task, but Vendetta Online has been with me for a long time so I don't mind giving back to the community.
I would say the most recent exciting change has been the port to Android. With it we've seen a new influx of mobile device users on the Xoom, the Lenovo Ideapad (which comes with Vendetta Online preloaded), and the Xperia Play. Optimizing the user interface for these smaller screens and enhancing the overall mobile experience will be a big step toward Vendetta Online 2.0.
