[Poll] Global Agenda Update 1.5

TheLizardbonesTheLizardbones Member CommonPosts: 10,910

I finally got GA to load after the patch by uninstalling and reinstalling the game. I didn't get to play for much more than an hour or so last night, but I had fun during the time I played. The XP seems to be rolling in a lot faster than with doing the Merc missions I've been doing, and it's a nice break from only queuing for Merc missions and Raids.

So what do you guys think? Use the poll or post your thoughts below.

Well, I guess that answers how many people know about the update. :-)

    Maybe that should be :-(

50% of the people voted for Muffins so far. It would be funny if that was the biggest category.

Honestly if it just came out, I haven't played it yet.  GoW3 is out now and its taking any gaming time I have.

That being said, I always come back to GA eventually.  GA is an awesome game -- I don't even know what 1.5 offers,  but I'm always happy when I come back.

They added another open world zone. You go to the opposite end from the transportation area of Dome City, upstairs. There are a couple of quests you pick up that send you to the guy. The zone itself is a little more developed than the starting Sonoran Desert zone.

I've only gotten about an hour or so into it, but it's pretty cool so far. I imagine if you don't care about open world stuff, it would be a waste of time, but I think it's just what GA lacked.

There is more than just that - some instances housed in the new zone and another type of map added somewhere as well, but the open world zone is something I've been looking forward to.

    ** edit **
    lol - Muffins at 62.5%!

I did hear they were looking into another open world area.  Sonoran was awesome for low level stuff.   I didn't know they were planning on launching the other open world stuff so soon,  they've been talking about it, but I didn't know it was in the works.

Sounds like a lot of fun.

So far, it is fun. There is more in the way of cover for you and the recursive colony droids. There is a quest chain, but it seems like you'll have to explore a bit to actually get everywhere.

bad poll, no answers to support what i think

The update is good, but it wasn't nearly enough.  I want more pvp content.  lots more.

I'm looking for faction vs faction conflict.....and not finding it in this game.24/7 persistent faction conflict ...and this game will explode with new players.

They are sticking to small scale stuff in GA. They couldn't get the large scale pvp, faction or otherwise in the current game engine. They are writing the Tribes game that will have large scale PvP. I'm not that familiar with Tribes, but I believe it is somewhat faction based, ya?

Also, if the poll doesn't have an option you like, hit 'Muffins' and put what you would have wanted to see.

It was cute for the few hours that it takes to get through all the content they added, but it adds nothing to the game in the long run.  HiRez's problem is that they are stuck in the mindset that GA is just fine with the current system of "hit ~20 (now ~30), then grind to 50 using any combination of repeatable missions."  It might be good for some people, but it just bores me to tears.

Every now and then I'll fire it up to try to find something entertaining to do, but it just doesn't want me to enjoy it.
