Diablo III...slips into 2012
Well, a lot of excitement from Blizzard with Diablo 3 info and beta passes. Heck even MMORPG is trying to jump on the games hype train by giving the Game special web pages, though it isn't a traditional mmo. So, I guess gamers were holding breath for a late 2011 release, some good hack-and-slash fun that continues in the vein of Diablo 2, albeit with improved graphics and brighter visuals. We were, I guess, also debating the cash-based auction house and the legalization of item farming...the levels of hype were bulding!
This is all gone now. Today Blizzard CEO states:
""With every game we make, the temptation is always very strong to launch as soon as possible. However, we didn't put so many years of work into Diablo III to release a game that was almost ready," said Mike Morhaime, CEO and cofounder of Blizzard Entertainment in a statement. "The beta test is going very well, and we look forward to making the most of the extra time we're taking to deliver an experience that lives up to our vision for the game and the expectations of our players. Next year is going to be an incredibly busy one for Blizzard, and we hope an incredibly fun one for Blizzard gamers."

Discussion-based post for the pub forum...I think it not a first to post race with me ever.
More to the point I am guessing folks must be feeling a bit sick if they put down some cash for the online pre-order game selling sites.
Kinda the wrong forum. The Pub's for MMORPGs, D3 isn't along those lines.

Not really surprised. With the sheer amount of tripple A titles coming out at the end of this year, it's probably a good idea to stay away from the clogged Nov-Dec window as people will only have so much money to spend on games.
Blizzard have show that betal will begin in jan 2012.can not wait to playO(∩_∩)O~
