Greetings friends and allies in the Force!
As some of you may be aware, we started “JEDl” on SWG/Bria 7 years ago, this past June 6th. JEDl is a Role-play centric guild based near entirely on the canonical lore. JEDl is the oldest, largest, and longest lasting Jedi profession guild in all of SWG. We aspire to bring that success to The Old Republic, where numerous Jedi actually makes sense in this era.

Paramount to JEDl’s success was the design of the Council structure that encourages and develops people to step into the various rolls of leadership. Also the guild is divided into 4 “schools” or paths of study. Much like you see in TOR with “Advanced Classes”. We have a guild ranking design that was independent of game given leveling, that was based more on lore as well. For example, Padawan, Acolyte, Apprentice, Knight, Master, Council Member and so on require ever increasing tasks and trials to accomplish. Once ready for the Council, you would enter the Council as a Jedi Master… leading your school, in one primary facet of the game. In other words, each school…or in TOR’s system…each Advanced Class, will have 3 of its Masters on the Council (a total of 12 Masters on the Council). Each schools representation on the Council is as follows…One Master that is focused on Roleplay and Guild Events, one on PvP, and another on PvE/Questing and leveling. Most of all, the success of JEDl is its culture and community.
We have many of the core founders and leaders from JEDl that will be joining us in recreating JEDl in TOR, and would like to cordially invite you to entertain placing your Jedi character with this organization. While it is some time away before TOR’s release, I do hope you all use this thread to keep in touch and look for updates in the coming months.

Addendum: Our guild now appears to be the largest Roleplay, Jedi only Community in SWTOR.
Bringing our legendary standing from SWG to TOR it seems

Currently the Jedl Order is the second largest Republic RP guild in SWTOR!!!! We just hit 273 members!
