Planescape:Torment and other Black Isle games on sale at GOG

Not just Planescape:Torment,  Baldur's Gate I and II, plus Icewind Dale I and II,  and Neverwinter Nights: Diamond Edition are all on sale this weekend.  IMO these are the best rpg's of their time, and Planescape:Torment is one of the best PC games of all time.  Plus they are DRM-free so you can back them up without any hastle.

I bought all of them on DVD alreay  (and paid at least 3 times as much)  so it doesn't mean anything to me. I just think it is a fantastic deal for anyone who hasn't played them.

That's a lot of quality RPGs. Didn't play Dragonshard much and don't even remember hearing about Dragon Stone. I look upon the others with high regards.

Nice. Have to play some of these again for sure. Planescape, The Baldur's Gate titles are some of my favorites of all time, right up there with The Bards Tale, The Ultima titles, and The Witcher games.

    Thanks for the info.

Good value there, Planescape Torment and Baldurs Gate 1 & 2 are the best RPG's ever made.

Torment is easily a contender for best PC game to date. If not then it is most definetly the best single player RPG.

I saw a list of top games & RPG's and it's very high in both of them, dispite it's age and dated (very dated) graphics. I thought it even made it in the top-5 of best RPG's ever and top 25 of best game ever. Definately ending higher than Baldur's Gate (which I loved a lot).

Anyhow, the Black Isle games I all have already, and the only one I really want is the Temple of Elemental Evil. Not to actually play but more of sentimental reasons, since it's one of the 1st pen-n-paper RPG's I played (1st edition AD&D) and actually completed...

The GOG version of 'planescape' also comes with the PDF novelization of the game.

It literally copy-pastes game texts and it is still one of the best novels I've read.

Is it 'War and peace'? No!

But even as a piece of literature, it stands on its own.
