How are Hunters in PvP?

Me and my wife are thinking of playing this game again come November. I will play my sub rogue and she her BM speced hunter. I have been reading around and see Sub is actually the prefered spec for PvP instead of Assassination. However, I see Hunters in general are just not cutting it.....but, that could just be ppl trying to garner buffs...I really don't know so I am asking you all if Hunters are any good at lvl 85 PvP?
We tend to stay close to each other so we can open on the same target.
Aside from that, we have a DK and pally duo. I can go Blood or Frost and she can go Holy or Prot....is there a good duo in those two?
Lastly, we have an Afflic Warlock and Spriest duo that I hope is viable.
Any suggestions as to which duo would be most viable in BG PvP would be appreciated.

Hunters are utterly outclassed in pvp right now. I know there will be a bunch of "you're doing it wrong" posts after this, but as a casual PVPer playing a hunter I can tell you it's frustraiting as hell. There are to many immune-absorb-reflect abilities in the game and most of our defensive abilites can be countered with little effort. The best you can hope for as a hunter is to sit behind a group unnoticed and plug away at someone.
They do have a sort of stealth-lite now though, great for ambushing. And if a rogue can keep something stunlocked you could really mess people up. More than 2 people though and you're done.
Well that sucks.....will the next patch fix that? I thought hunters were one of the favorite classes of the developers like mages and druids.
I do understand the lack of professionalism of the developers and their biases so I figured that would seep into hunters but it sounds like that is not the case. I know shaman are pathetic (except resto) because of developer hate.....
Maybe we will do the DK/Pally duo or Lock/SPriest.
Blood DKs and holy Pals are brutal in pvp right now, i imagine a good duo would be a force to be reckoned with. =D
