Sony Online Entertainment Inc. (SOE), a
worldwide leader in massively multiplayer online (MMO) gaming, today announced
the formation of Station Publishing, a new distribution label within the
company.  Station Publishing will focus on distributing interactive
entertainment products licensed from external content providers for the PC and
game console market.  The first titles due from Station Publishing will be
Turbine Entertainment Software's Asheron's Call: Throne of Destiny™ and
Asheron's Call 2: Legions™.

Damn Turbine, making alliance  with this devil blood leecher SOE.

As long as SOE's work is  just to bring game boxes on shelves, it's ok I guess image

SOE is also making two animated movies and Ubisoft just bought the rights to the games for them haha.

    • Why would we work with SOE? Simply put, they have an outstanding sales force and excellent distribution channels -- without SOE or a similar distribution partner, we would have a lot of difficulty getting the AC1 and AC2 expansion packs on retail shelves.
    • Will AC1 and AC2 go through Station.com now? No. This deal is for distribution only -- servers, billing, support, etc. will all be through Turbine.

Yes, I thought I read that Turbine originally considered going with Blizzard as their publisher but decided not to when the realized stores kept running out of copies of World of Warcraft.
