Hiya, I just got me a asus delux mother board dual channel DDR400 with a AMD antlon 64bit 3400+. and wondering what graphics card will be best with the the system. I now only have $400 to spend on a graphics card what should i buy? ATI RADEON X800 PRO 256MB DDR AGP Graphics Card or a BFG GeForce 6800 GT OC 256MB GDDR3 AGP Graphics Card. not posting this to showoff but i'm posting this because i really do need help on this. don't want to spend $400 and get a crappy piece of shit card and be stuck with it for years.
Please tell me what you think is best or what you have experience of the 2 cards.
Thank you very much!

Alright, if your only going to play EQ2, get the x800. If your a general gamer and like to play a group of games, get the 6800 GT. The 6800 GT is overal faster with 16pipelines compared to the x800 pro 12 pipelines. The 6800GT also has 3.0 pixel shader compares to the x800s PS 2.0- making the 6800 more upgradeable. The 6800GT is also much faster in 3dmark and generally faster out of most games- http://graphics.tomshardware.com/graphic/20041004/index.html. However, there is a reported issue with series 6 cards and EQ2. I have the same specs the 3400+. 6800GT, and the gfx is very very fast. Really, the 6800GT is a ultra at 100 dollars less- i already overclocked over ultra. EQ2 runs fine, although nothing crazy.
6800GT all the way, its faster, better, and cheaper.
