I got in it a few weeks ago, they said my beta invite had ended then offered another to me right after. I haven't logged in, in over a week.

as masked said probably not this week since as they mentioned, they want to get the new build tested a bit first by those in testing before opening it up to a wider audience and it was only just released to them

edit:  for those interested in knowning when invites go out, you might want to check this new post by stephen reid:

StephenReid General Discussion -> Game Testing: official 'invites have been sent' thread

    Hello all,

Instead of posting new threads every time we send out a new round of Game Testing invites, we're going to try and consolidate the notifications right here.

A few parameters first, so hopefully you know what to expect:

    - This thread will track both general invites to Game Testing and Beta Testing Weekend invites. (Generally speaking: Beta Testing Weekend invites are for one weekend only; Game Testing invites are for a longer period which is sometimes time limited.)

    - We'll update this original post, but also post in this thread (or the inevitable restart) to remind people that we updated the OP.

    - We'll update here either after invites have been sent, or just before. (We'll try to update close to when invites are sent, but can't guarantee it'll be on-the-dot.)

    - Generally speaking, when a batch of invites are sent, they're sent in one go. If you haven't received an invite within a few hours of the batch being sent, assume you haven't received an invite from that batch.

    - As always, ensure no-reply@bioware.swtor.com is in your 'safe senders' list. Email invites will be sent from that email address.

    - If you are ever unsure if you've received an invite, login to the site and visit swtor.com/tester/ to see if you've been accepted to testing.

    - We do not discuss exact numbers regarding Game Testing invites, so please don't ask.

    - We may choose to talk about countries or territories invited, but we also may not. If we haven't been specific, follow-up questions won't be responded to.

With that out of the way, here's the current status as of today, October 3rd:

Last week (ending September 30th), we invited community members to game testing from North America (USA, Canada) and select European countries. These were Game Testing invites for US-based, East Coast servers.

This week, so far, we invited community members to game testing from France, Germany and North America (USA, Canada). These were Game Testing invites for EU-based servers (for France and Germany) and US-based, East Coast servers (for North America).

    More to come.

I'm aware that they are inviting waves in "one batch", not in a steady trickle, but that doesn't rule out multiple such batches over the course of several subsequent days, does it?

If a wave was deemed big enough - and later, I think we'll get to this point - we might send it over several days.

We'll make that clear when updating, eg "Today we've begun inviting people to Big Wave #1... more invites will go out tomorrow and the day after". That sort of thing.

I have to ask, if you had no intention of actually contributing to improving the game and helping get it ready for launch then why did you even apply?

All you accomplished was wasting an invite that could have gone to a tester who honestly wants to improve the game and has a genuine interest in ensuring it releases as a high quality, well made product.

    Bad form.

    Grats OP.

You sound like one of those peole that didnt get a beta invite so they could try the game before they buy it. As in you arent really interested in being an actual game tester. You just want to play it to see if you want to buy it.

What was it he said to give you that impression? Don't worry about answering as it's obvious what the answer is. Nothing.

You presume quite a bit with your reply. First I joined the beta option on their website well over a year ago when I wanted this game to own me like KOTOR 1 & 2 did.

Second you assume I took the beta to steal the option away from someone else. Which in your narrow view is somehow in my ability to choose who gets an invite and who does not, and therefore gave it to myself over someone more deserving. Since the NDA is in effect I cannot tell you why I leveled a Jedi and Sith to 20 each and still decided not to continue my beta opportunity I'll have to leave that to you to figure out.

    Bad form? really?

EDIT: I sent in as many bug reports and player feedbacks as I possibly could. I feel I contributed regardless of how your short sight sees it.

    Grats for you:)

If i get a beta invite i would put it in the trashcan:P

If you do get an invite, it might be cool for you to visit the Swtor forums here or on the website and hand it out to someone who's enthusiastic about the game.  No need to let it go to waste.

At least I think thats possible.  Not sure.

    Corehaven,

The beta invite is attached to the account. There is no key. Instead, if you have been invited, you will log in with your WEBSITE user name and pass. I would not expect Groovydutch to be willing to let you have his username and password to the website so you can play the beta.

Bioware was smart in this approach.
