Is there a free trial to STO ? I was thinking I might try the game and slide into the FTP when it comes out ? Would you yhink thats viable ?

 

How signifigant and deep is crafting ? Is there any crafting at all ?

Yes, there are buddy keys. There is a forum post with a stiky or if you need one PM me your e-mail and I an send you one. Yes, I think it will be a great FTP game.

There is crafting and there are some nice items but I would not say the crafting is very deep. Its quick, fun and easy with some good items/sets to make but not the best part of the game.
