Warning to all of those who end up trying out the game when it goes F2P: I suggest checking out some tutorials on the official site forums, made by other players before you dive in to any PVP arenas. There is a huge learning curve and considering it is an action based MMO, it will help you greatly so you aren't facestomped constantly by old players.
No fan of SOE, no fan of the Super-hero genre, but when it goes F2P, I'll give it a shot. My SOE account is still flagged as subscription (nice bug I love) while my last payment is almost a year ago now...
