Matchmaking system is made to make you spend money

Simply and clear, the only way to pass the middle tiers is spending money or having tons and tons of patience and resignation. Also, that's the reason that makes wargaming say "it's working as intended", of course, as long as it pops out money from the machine they won't change it significatively.

Low tier players are guinea pig for high tier players, because they can't inflict damage on those juggernauts, you still have a function in the game if your tank is fast, but there are many medium and heavy tanks that are crap and can't run a shit, so you can't make damage, you can't withstand the enemy fire and you can't scout for your time. The opposite is true, the players that have high tier tanks (having paid or not) are happy playing a totally unfair game. That way, low tier players spend money, and high tier players think that they have done a good investment of their money.

I have played until I farmed the T-1 heavy tank (worst crap ever, but I'm making some scores at the end with the best gun it can fit and playing against lower tiers), the SU-85 (a good tank, however the 122mm weapon is too slow for my liking, you must destroy the target in one or two shots, because you haven't enough armor to survive a few direct shots from medium tanks), I almost have researched the M4 Sherman (I think that american tanks are better in medium size than in heavy, more or less the same weapons and armor, but mediums can run a lot and are smaller), and... well, I didn't continue researching higher tiers in russian artillery, because I simply loved the SU-27 turret, I have scored a lot of top gun achievements with it, even fighting against tigers and KVs

The other thing that annoys me is that wargaming doesn't allow to play with friends if you don't pay. No other game does this. I know, they are here for the money, but this is cheap play. You can't even invite just 1 friend to be in your platoon if you aren't premium.

Mostly agree with you here. The upper tier tanks on a non premium account loose money fast and are almost just play for fun or clan war battles. You need to have a good tier 5 tank elited so you can keep cash coming in.  I bought just enough gold to have a premium account and cant see how the non permium ppl survive long in upper tier tanks money wise.

Im eliting the USA tanks as Im going up and will not get into upper tier tank battles if I can help it. If I do encounter higher tier tanks I try not to stick around and find other targets.

By the moment, I didn't have problems with money. It doesn't matter if I just entered a battle, roamed around the map and I was one-shotted without doing anything for my team, the repairs and ammunition are less than the income I receive in credits. Maybe you are refering to having a lot of income and very few expenses.

Anyway, the main problem is getting experience for your tanks, I usually get more money than the needed for certain tank when I'm saving experience for it. For example, if I want to buy a tank which costs 600k and, at the same time, I have to save experience to research it, when I have the needed experience I have more than 600k. Therefore, the money is the main problem precisely.

Maybe it will change when I get better tanks, by the moment I'm using the M4 Sherman and the T1 crappy heavy tank, anyways, the T29 and the last two medium tanks of american line looks awesome (I don't like the ears in the T29 but, anyways, it's a good tank)

Not sure why I'm wasting my time posting on the WoT forums as I stopped playing it,.

It is the worst money grab F2P game ever.

If you don't like a game don't play it, and quit running to MMORPG.com to trash it.

Aren't you confusing it with Entropia Universe? (also known as Space Casino)

by far i wouldnt say its the worst. I would just get enough gold to unlock premium days and thats it.

That sounds like what Vindictus did with end-game content and Dungeon running later on in game.

If the premium account worked as the global agenda Elite Agent account, I would buy the world of tanks premium account right now.

It should be this way. You pay the premium account just once and you can create platoons and clans, fight in Platoon vs Platoon and in World Map, however, if you want the bonus exp/credit after each battle, you have to pay to have that bonus during 1 day, 1 week, 1 month.... etc

I'm sure that they will make a lot of money this way and the community will grow a lot.
