Really loved the fight at the end, looks better and better compared to earlier clips that I've personally seen.

I love the sarcastic response from the BH to the Jedi mind trick, "you will realize what a complete idiot you are". Got to love it.
I like how PvP fights will take awhile. So you have to pull out all your tricks to get the upperhand. This should allow for more player skill to win out. I guess we'll find out in Dec.
How many people long for that "past, simpler, and better world," I wonder, without ever recognizing the truth that perhaps it was they who were simpler and better, and not the world about them?

Nice vid. really shows off the combat animations. eniroment looks really nice too. appears to be a pretty open world. I wonder what planet this was?
What is really funny is people are complaining that blaster bolts and light sabers are not one hit kills and it's "unrealistic" but apparently they never played WoW when a PvP match was over after a single GCD.
I enjoyed the combat animations, the jump to close ground by the jedi and the immediate knock back by the bounty hunter was pretty sweet looking as well.

Joke aside, I am sure BH will dominate. BH have way more CC skills, which always give a huge advantage, and a class you is focussed on melee dmg always loses against anyone who halfway knows how to play and stays on the move. You can't defeat the lolcoptering faction. I expect cries of nerf-calling Jedi Knights after launch.

The bounty hunter would be a much cooler concept if this game was done right in the first place.
In a real Star Wars world the bounty hunters and smugglers would be the cash kings who make their money with serious risks attached. Loans and deals could be made and broken. A bounty hunter would be able to track down players who have made enemies with various factions in the SW world or other players.
In a real Star Wars world a bounty hunter could show up at any time to haul in or kill another player. It would be PVP but the right kind of PVP, with bounty hunters having the best tracking and capture skills in the game.

But this is WoW 2.0 so they'll just be another cartoon class with a cool name.

You are trying too hard my friend. As for the friday update it looks really good. Speically the duel they show between the jedi and BH. The animations look superb. And the combat looks very fast regardless of no auto attack.
Currently Playing: SSFIV AE, SFxTekken, SWTOR, WoW. Waiting for: GW2, Resident Evil 6.
Yeah I think that combat is fast enough. If anyone thinks that combat is too slow then they need to stick with FPS type games. Awesome video. I'll be rolling a Bounty Hunter myself, but will most likely go powertech. Can't wait to set jedi on fire and then blow them up

I've played it myself (Expo) and found it to be very fast and fluid for my taste. Being a long time WoW player myself I find this game to be really kick ass! Personally I cannot fathom all the hate for WoW style combat, it's pretty fucking fun (In my opinion atleast
) if done right, which I truly believe BioWare have achieved.

This is the first ingame footage that actually gave a positive vibe to me from this game. Allthough I liked their CGI movies, on their own... they should make more video's like this one to show what this game is about. I have seen way to much boring (official) video's from SW:ToR's gameplay before they showed this.

Am I the only one who jizzed his pants after only a single look at those Bounty Hunter pistols? Dang those things are awesome.
Also for anyone doubting who'll win this match, I present this evidence:
Jedi Knight supporter #1: No beard.
Bounty Hunter supporter #1: Beard.
Bounty Hunter supporter #2: Beard.
Jedi Knight supporter #2: Beard.

Very good video. The Jedi seemed to ha ve the upper hand but if you noticed the bounty hunter made it close again when he activated his shields. Bounty hunter shield seems to be similar to paladin bubble in that you are temporarily immune to damage. Wonder how long cool down is. If a bounty hunter gets the jump or can mantain distance they should be able to do well against jedis. If they don't get jump they seem to have the tools to extend the fight and maybe you'll get backup from another player nearby. Either way Bounty Hunters should be viable in PVP.
Nice video. But imo is kinda clear who will win, is like warr and mage in WoW
I think bounty hunters will be one of the best classes for pvp. If you want more details to convince yourself check http://www.oldrepublic.net/138-bounty-hunter-guide.html - he can freez, stun and can remove all movement impairing effects. Ah, not to mention heals if he's on the right AC.
Don't know exactly about the Smuggler, but it looks nice too.
People won't like the warrior VS mage comparision from WOW, but YES, I fully agree. BH will pwn Jedi. I still will play Jedi, because I don't care for the BH story and I don't care for PVP either.

Personally I still think GW2 is the one I like the best, HOWEVER, I really am liking how SWTOR is turning out and I might just get it after all!
Utter Rubbish..... With all the content and detail they have released this will be far better than an ageing game.
