Hey everyone. I'm obviously looking for a new game. im just curious what everyone thinks. ive played a lot of games. like everquest, anarchy online, WoW, tried warhammer, and DAoC. I loved DAoC, wow, and anarchy online. aside from WoW, the other games lost a lot of players, or is all end game now. im just looking for a game like any of these with a big player base.. i like to log in and be able to get a group within atleast  a half hour. i still play anarchy but sadly its getting hard to level because there is never anyone lower level playing anymore, DAoC i think has the same problem, havet played it in a long time but last i heard it was the same. but anyhow, im looking for somthing like these games. i dont like games like flyff or ragnarok or anything like that. also i dont like looking down on my character. If anyone has any suggestions i would love to hear them! thanks

     Well, I was LFgame recently.. and a steam-friend suggested "Pirates of the Burning Sea"..

     A game I had overlooked for years because, well simply pirates are extremely "not my thing".. But I tried it none the less, and was pleasently suprised.. Been playing almost every night for 2 weeks now.. Of course Im not saying its anything amazing really, just a pretty nice change of pace from the fantasy / space genres, which to me are so overplayed..

     But yeah, check it out if you havent before, it is F2P and the cash shop isnt pay to win at all.. Mostly just cosmetics or exp boosting stuff.. You can buy ships in the cash shop, but better versions of the exact same are readily available through crafting.

    But for AMD users, they may see some sad stuttering in cities which makes this game less fun.

    Oh, I havent had any trouble yet.. Graphics are pretty nice really, for its age. I only wish the incredibly detailed cities and stuff were equalled in ship combat.. I mean, I dont know what else they would add, but floating debris, or more splashes.. maybe some ships on fire would be cool.. Seeing as most of your time is spent in ship battles the melee combat is decent.  Althought the AI enemies are rather, lets say , energetic and hard to keep in place lol
